Artist and art world commentator Hilde Lynn Helphenstein was found dead on Sunday in São Paulo’s Rosewood Hotel, according to a report by Brazilian television network Globo. Helphenstein, better known by her pseudonym Jerry Gogosian, was found in her hotel room beside an empty vodka bottle, a broken glass, and unidentified pills. A man who identified himself as her plastic surgeon said he went to her room after she stopped answering her phone, according to Globo. He said further that she had been in Brazil for three weeks while she had a surgical procedure. The death was registered as suspicious by the police, and tests have been requested, says the paper. A mum-of-two has died after her throat was allegedly slashed outside a hotel in Ireland – with revelations emerging that she had previously expressed fears about her suspected killer to police. She has been identified as 31 year old Masuma Sohrabi, an Iranian woman known locally in Galway as Atijafari. She was discovered dead with horrific neck injuries outside an International Protection Accommodation Service centre in Co Galway after being reported missing on Wednesday (May 27). The tragedy occurred near Galway Road in Clifden on Thursday. Police, known as Gardaí, were summoned to the scene by staff at the accommodation centre.
