Moscow’s mayor described the wave of drones as the “largest ever” attack on the Russian capital and said there had been damage to a Moscow oil refinery and a residential building. Across the wider Moscow region, the attack killed two people and wounded 20, local Gov. Andrei Vorobyov said. The dead were a 74-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, he said. Dutch riot police clashed on Saturday with around 500 far-right protesters in the centre of The Hague, using baton charges, specialist dogs, and water cannon to disperse the crowd after violence erupted. Demonstrators pelted officers with fireworks and other projectiles, shouted anti-semitic chants, and performed Nazi salutes during the “We Are The People” rally, which was organised to protest government policies on immigration and asylum. “We’re losing our country. We’re literally losing our country to mass migration,” 31-year-old mechanic Thijs Jansen told news agencies at the scene. Protesters had intended to march through the city, but local authorities banned the procession and ordered the crowd to disperse after clashes broke out at the Malieveld, a central park where demonstrators had gathered. Mounted police made several arrests during the operation. Police on Friday began moving hundreds of migrants from the beaches of Ceuta to the Spanish enclave’s port area.  During the transfer, the police struggled to contain crowds of people jostling to secure a spot at the new tented site after weeks of living on the beaches. Plans for a new 24-hour drive-thru McDonald’s near a Tesco supermarket have been turned down partly due to health considerations. The plans for a 100-seat drive-thru at the Border Retail Park in Wrexham were heavily criticised by Betsi Cadwladr University Health Board which raised concerns about health implications for Wrexham – especially for youngsters. The plans were also rejected after hundreds of people signed a petition calling for it to be blocked. “The proposed site is located less than one mile from 14 educational institutions,” the health board stated in its submission to the council. “The close proximity to these settings is particularly concerning as it increases the likelihood of children and young people being exposed to and influenced by unhealthy food choices. “The site is surrounded by an already high density of takeaways, restaurants and shops that predominantly sell food and drinks high in fat, salt, and sugar. A single UK military aircraft reportedly triggered the air traffic control failure which grounded thousands of flights and left passengers stranded across Britain.The aircraft is said to have submitted a flight plan containing “spurious” data before National Air Traffic Services (NATS) suffered a major systems failure on Tuesday. Four people briefed on the incident said the flight plan submitted by the aircraft triggered a series of events that led to chaos at airports across the UK, according to the Financial Times. It reportedly took hours and several attempts to restart the air traffic control system. The Ministry of Defence said the disruption is not thought to have been caused by a direct error on the part of the military. Investigations remain ongoing. British airspace was shut down for around four hours as NATS made several attempts to restart systems which manage roughly 8,000 flights a day. NATS operations director Kathryn Leahy is reported to have told industry bosses that flight plan data was behind the problem during a briefing on Tuesday evening. The knock-on disruption …

Hardware crypto wallet maker Trezor is warning customers for the second time in as many months that one of the companies it relies on was hacked, exposing the data of Trezor’s customers to hackers. In a blog post this week, the hardware wallet maker said a cyberattack on Brevo, a marketing tech company that Trezor uses to send newsletters, allowed hackers to send around 347,000 phishing emails to Trezor customers with a malicious link purporting to come from the wallet maker. The link, when tapped, downloads an app that asks the victim for their wallet backup password. According to Trezor, one of the email subject lines said: “Critical Security Alert: STM32 Entropy Vulnerability.”  With a stolen wallet password, a hacker can irreversibly steal the person’s funds on the public blockchain. Brevo said in an incident status post that the hackers were able to access 138 Brevo accounts to send out the mass volume of phishing messages. Brevo said that the hackers abused a flaw that meant the hackers’ access was “not properly scoped.” The company …
