Forget Philly, LeBron James is taking his talents to YouTube. James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, is launching a YouTube Golf channel “chronicling his journey with the sport,” The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The name of the YouTube Channel will simply be “LeBron James.” “LeBron and his friends will play a round at some of the world’s greatest golf courses, dine at local restaurants and have a little fun while enjoying everything the game of golf has to offer,” THR is told. If you simply can’t wait a minute longer for such content, well, we’ve got more good news for you. The channel launched timed to the publication of this story; its debut episode “follows James and members of the storied 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers championship team as they celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their historic comeback that brought the franchise its first title.” James, Kevin Love, J.R. Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast aka, the most followed creator on YouTube, stays busy churning out a genre of content that lands to a rabid fan base. Recent videos and view counts include “7 Days Stranded in the Arctic” (102 million), “I Stranded 100 People in the Wilderness For $250,000” (142 million), “Last to Leave Grocery Store Wins $250,000” (172 million), and “Survive 30 Days Stranded With Your Ex, Win” $250,000 (132 million). Saturday morning, MrBeast departed from his usual stream to drop a new piece of content with a philanthropic focus and featuring a surprise appearance from superstar LeBron James. The NBA really wants to set its 2026-2027 schedule. It’s media partners at NBC Sports, ESPN and Amazon want it too. It’s just waiting on LeBron James. NBA commissioner Adam Silver, in a wide-ranging conversation at the CNBC/Boardroom Summit Thursday, said that the league, well aware of a TV draw when it sees one, is waiting to see where former Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James chooses to play next season. James announced last month that he would leave the Lakers, sparking immediate speculation about where he could end up next. “We have to finish up the schedule, right?
