Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to settle down in Ohio, after the NFL star purchased a $5.35 million mansion near his hometown of Cleveland Heights. Travis reportedly bought the home four months before tying the knot with Taylor inside Madison Square Garden on July 3, in front of 1,000 guests, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Paul McCartney. The 21,000 square foot mansion houses eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a game room, a home theater, a fitness center and sauna, and a two-bedroom guesthouse that previously served as the gatehouse before its conversion. ‘Mansion tax police’ to target homes with nice views and driveways

Mansion tax inspectors will target homes with views of the countryside and driveways, The Telegraph can reveal. The Government valuation agents will be sent out with a checklist of features supposed to signal an increase in a property’s estimated value. They include whether the house is set in scenic surroundings, if it has a conservatory, and even the number of parking spaces and bathrooms. It comes after The Telegraph revealed that HMRC agents will be able to demand entry to people’s properties to assess their value for the levy. Under the mansion tax, which was announced by Rachel Reeves at her final Budget, properties worth more than £2m will be hit with a surcharge of between £2,500 and £7,500 a year, depending on how much they are worth. California Gov. Newsom lists Sacramento mansion for $7.5 million

Gov. Gavin Newsom’s sprawling Sacramento-area mansion is up for sale. The 12,700-square-foot mansion in Fair Oaks — an unincorporated community in Sacramento County bordering the American River — has been listed for $7.5 million. News of the listing, which is being handled by Sotheby’s International Realty, was first reported by the Sacramento Bee on Monday. The listing describes the seven-bedroom home at 7640 Tobia Way as a “showcase of Santa Barbara-inspired architecture” that is “privately positioned along the bluffs on 8.2 acres.” It boasts of amenities including a resort-style pool, hot tub, cold plunge, tennis court and 5,000-bottle wine cellar. The Newsoms purchased the mansion in December 2018 for $3.7 million shortly before Newsom took office as the 40th governor of California in January 2019, The Times reported. The state’s first family had quickly ditched the historic governor’s mansion. In 2024, the Newsoms bought in Marin County, where they previously lived. Handyman Tony Saxon maintained in his initial Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit that the 49-year-old musician agreed to pay him $20,000 per week under a 2021 agreement. However, Ye provided only one $20,000 payment in addition to $100,000 intended for construction costs. Judge Brock T. Hammond previously upheld a March 11 jury decision that awarded Saxon $140,000. Ye, alongside his company, Shore Drive Holdings LLC, launched a separate lawsuit targeting Saxon and West Coast Trial Lawyers APLC, the firm representing the handyman. The late queen purchased Gatcombe Park in 1976 as a wedding present for Anne after she married her first husband, Mark Phillips. (According to author Geoffrey Sanders, the estate of more than 500 acres cost about 500,000 British pounds at the time. Its previous owners later said that the royal family was a tough negotiator on the purchase price.) Rebuilt in the 1820s, the Georgian mansion required significant renovations to be inhabitable, but the stonework and floor plan of the main structure and its glass-walled conservatory remained largely intact. Anne used to be a professional equestrian and even competed in the three-day event at the 1976 Olympics. When she moved into Gatcombe Park, she upgraded the stables and turned them into a modern center for such events.
