Does the Rivals age gap between Taggie O’Hara and Rupert Campbell-Black really matter?

Stay ahead of the curve with our weekly guide to the latest trends, fashion, relationships and more Stay ahead of the curve with our weekly guide to the latest trends, fashion, relationships and more Stay ahead of the curve with our weekly guide to the latest trends, fashion, relationships and more A man in his late 30s isn’t supposed to fancy an 18-year-old woman. It’s predatory, perverted, and downright wrong. Why, then, is it that so many of us diehard Rivals fans are rooting for Rupert Campbell-Black and Taggie O’Hara? A couple with such a vast and glaring age gap – he works with her dad! She calls her mother, “mummy”! She uses words like “willy”! – that it can only be some sort of TV sorcery that has brainwashed viewers into forgetting it’s even really there. I certainly did while watching the first few episodes in season two of the hit series, which dropped on Disney+ last week. In case you’ve missed the very well-deserved cultural brouhaha, Rivals is based on Jilly Cooper’s 1988 …

Seth Rogen Dedicates ‘The Studio’ BAFTA TV Award to Catherine O’Hara

Seth Rogen took to the BAFTA TV Awards stage on Sunday to pick up the best international series honor for The Studio, paying homage to his late co-star Catherine O’Hara, who died in January. “I’d be remiss not to mention one of the key parts of the show, Catherine O’Hara,” he said. “She meant so much to all of us.” And Rogen, holding up the BAFTA trophy, concluded in addressing the London crowd: “I assume her work has been so important to you all over here as it was to us. So this is for Catherine.” Rogen started his acceptance speech by highlighting: “I really didn’t expect that to happen at all. And when you make a comedy, and you’re up against dramas, especially, it feels really good to beat them. I have to say, it doesn’t happen that often. It’s a rare, rarefied thing.” Of course, he didn’t go without jokes. The star lauded the British TV ceremony and its audience by saying: “This award show is so cool. Thank you for having us …

Dan Levy Considered Schitt’s Creek Sequel Before Catherine O’Hara Died

Dan Levy knows there’s no Schitt’s Creek without Catherine O’Hara. During a recent interview on CBS News Sunday Morning, the Emmy-winning actor, producer and showrunner visited Goodwood — the small town in Ontario, Canada, where Schitt’s Creek was filmed — for the first time since the sitcom wrapped in 2020. While standing outside the store that was once called Rose Apothecary, the fictional boutique his character David Rose owned, CBS News’ Anthony Mason asked if there was any chance for a sequel series. “No. Not now,” Levy replied. “You can’t.” The Big Mistakes co-creator added that at one point, he was “thinking about” a follow-up to Schitt’s Creek. However, that was before O’Hara died on Jan. 30 at age 71 from a pulmonary embolism, with rectal cancer as the underlying cause. The actress played David’s mom and eccentric soap opera star, Moira Rose, on the show for six seasons. “It’s tough. It’s tough being back. I didn’t think that I’d have quite an emotional reaction,” Levy told Mason as he struggled to hold back tears. He added that …

Levy, the show’s co-creator, had previously that fan speculation had inspired him to consider a potential revival of the Emmy-winning comedy series after it aired from 2015 to 2020. But after O’Hara — who played flamboyant matriarch Moira Rose on the Canadian sitcom — died from a pulmonary embolism in January at age 71, Levy said there is no way that the show could return without her. “No. We can’t,” Levy, 42, said in an interview with CBS News published Sunday. “I was thinking about it. Yeah. It’s tough. It’s tough going back.” He told the broadcaster that it was “awe-inspiring” to work with the comedian on the show. Dan Levy said he is not interested in doing a ‘Schitt’s …

In a new interview with The Times, Goldberg revealed that the show’s second season had to be rewritten in light of her death. “It has been an unbelievable challenge,” said Goldberg. “Obviously emotionally, dealing with the loss, but also when it comes to the show itself. We wrote it for her to be there. We had it all set and the shock waves permeate throughout the entire …

Seth Rogen Honors “Genius” Catherine O’Hara at Actor Awards

Catherine O’Hara’s illustrious career was given a warm send-off at the Actor Awards 2026 when the performer posthumously won the award for best female actor in a comedy series. The Canadian comedy icon, who died on Jan. 30, starred in the first season of The Studio as Patty Leigh, a former studio head who becomes a producer after being pushed out of her high-level executive job. Seth Rogen, the co-creator and star of The Studio, accepted the award on his costar’s behalf, sharing some warm memories of working with her. “Something I’ve been marveling over the past few weeks was her ability to be generous and kind and gracious while never ever minimizing her own talents, and her own ability to contribute to the work we were doing,” he said. “She knew she could destroy, and she wanted to destroy every day on set.” Onstage, Rogen also revealed that O’Hara would often email Rogen and co-creator Evan Goldberg with notes on a scene they were about to shoot—and sometimes a complete rewrite. He described how …

“Still hard to comprehend”: Conan mulls deaths of Rob and Michelle Reiner, Catherine O’Hara

Michele and Rob Reiner were killed by their son shortly after attending Conan O’Brien‘s holiday party last December. In a new interview with the New Yorker, the comedian opened up about their deaths for the first time. “I knew Rob and Michele, and then increasingly got closer and closer to them, and I was seeing them a lot. My wife and I were seeing them a lot, and they were so—they were just such lovely people. And to have that experience of saying good night to somebody and having them leave and then find out the next day that they’re gone. . . . I think I was in shock for quite a while afterward,” he said. “There’s no other word for it. It’s just very—it’s so awful. It’s just so awful.” O’Brien, who is gearing up for a second year of hosting the Oscars, took a moment to reflect on Rob Reiner’s astounding run of classic movies. “I think it’s seven movies that Rob Reiner made, in quick succession, that are classics. Now, if …

But, how many cancer patients actually develop the condition? The percentage may be smaller than you might think. Just around three percent of non-hospitalized cancer patients being treated with chemo die after suffering a pulmonary embolism. Among hospitalized patients, that percentage rises by seven percent. “The risk of clotting increases as the cancer grows and spreads in the body,” MD Anderson Cancer Center says. open image in gallery Comedic actress Catherine O’Hara suffered from rectal cancer when she passed away due to a pulmonary embolism last month.
