Anthony Grieco, Cisco’s SVP and chief security and trust officer, did not hesitate when VentureBeat asked whether rogue agent incidents are reaching Cisco’s customer base. “A hundred percent. We see them regularly,” Grieco told VentureBeat in an exclusive interview at RSAC 2026. “I’ve heard some that I can’t repeat, but they do get to the places of, you know, agents are doing things that they think are the right things to do.” The incidents Grieco described follow a consistent pattern: authentication passes, identity checks clear. The agent is exactly who it claims to be. Then it accesses data it was never scoped to touch or takes an action nobody authorized at that level of granularity. Sam Altman took to the witness stand to defend his reputation in the Musk v. Altman trial on Tuesday, as Elon Musk’s lawyers peppered the OpenAI CEO with hours of questions regarding his alleged history of deceptive behavior. The cross examination was a much needed win for Musk, who has so far struggled to make a convincing case. Tuesday’s testimony included several heated exchanges in which the OpenAI CEO had to respond to allegations from former colleagues suggesting he’s untrustworthy. Highlighting this evidence is not only important for Musk winning over a jury, but also for beating OpenAI in the court of public opinion. The Artemis II astronauts who recently returned from the far side of the Moon have described their “otherworldly” experience during the record-breaking mission. Speaking at their first news conference since returning home last Friday, the four-person crew revealed they experienced a multitude of overwhelming emotions during the nine-day mission, which took them further from Earth than any human has ever travelled. Catherine O’Hara’s death came as a shock to the showbiz world and her many fans from around the world.  The beloved Schitt’s Creek actress died on January 30 at her home in LA, aged 71. Following the sad news, it was announced on February 9 that Catherine’s cause of death was a blood clot in the lungs. TMZ was the first to break the news that per an official death certificate from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, a pulmonary embolism was listed as the immediate cause, with rectal cancer as the underlying reason. WASHINGTON, Jan 23 (Reuters) – The U.S. ‌National ​Transportation Safety Board said ‌on Friday it is opening an investigation into self-driving ​car company Waymo after its robotaxis illegally passed stopped school buses in ‍Austin, Texas, at least 19 ​times since the start of the school year. The Alphabet unit in ​December recalled ⁠more than 3,000 vehicles to update the software that had caused vehicles to drive past stopped school buses that were loading or unloading students, increasing the risk of a crash. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened ‌a probe in October into Waymo vehicles near school buses. Waymo said ​Friday there ‌were no collisions in ‍the ⁠incidents and said its self-driving system known as the Waymo Driver “safely navigates thousands of school bus encounters weekly across the United States, and the Waymo Driver is continuously improving.” Waymo added it is “confident that our safety performance around school buses is superior to human drivers.” In a November 20 letter posted by NHTSA, ​the Austin Independent School District said five incidents occurred in November after Waymo …
