It’s all square heading into the second leg of the Scottish Premiership play-off final between St Mirren and Partick Thistle on Monday evening. The Buddies, bidding to avoid relegation, took the lead in last week’s first leg thanks to Killian Phillips’ canny finish with the outside of his boot in the first half. Thistle, looking to return to the top tier for the first time since 2018, finally took one of their chances when Aidan Fitzpatrick turned home Tony Watt’s cutback to level the scores after the break.
