Season 35 of DWTS began with a special two-night premiere split by gender; Tuesday night saw the eight male stars perform, while Wednesday night was reserved for the women. Coming off season 34, the cast is full of reality stars, Olympians and (ABC) television stars a plenty. As previously announced, the premiere episodes are split by gender, with the slate of eight male celebrities performing on Tuesday night, as the eight women celebrities will follow on Wednesday night. Adele Zaikman is gearing up for her first season as a professional dancer on Dancing With the Stars. Taylor Frankie Paul is returning for season six of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. ABC has not shared its plans for Paul’s pulled season of The Bachelorette, but that has not deterred her involvement with the Emmy-nominated Hulu series. Season six of Mormon Wives is currently in production, as majority of the cast (except for Paul) has been spotted filming in Utah and on their first international cast trip in Milan. No information on Paul’s status for season six, be that full-time or popping up in a guest role, was made available. It was unclear if Paul would have any involvement with Mormon Wives after season five, which is gearing up to release on Hulu on Sept. 10, as filming was halted due to an alleged domestic incident involving Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen. Love Overboard has sunk. The dating reality series executive produced by Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper has been canceled at Hulu after one season, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The series, which premiered March 26, was Cooper’s first step into unscripted television. However, Love Overboard did not garner the same level of attention as some of Hulu’s other unscripted originals, including The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, The Kardashians and Vanderpump Villa. Hosted by former The Bachelorette co-lead and The Traitors season three winner Gabby Windey, Love Overboard followed 22 contestants competing for love while also navigating challenges to gain access to the yacht’s amenities. Leah Remini is joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast for its upcoming 16th season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned, making quite the star-studded addition to the Bravo reality series. Remini joins former Million Dollar Listing star Tracy Tutor as a new addition for season 16. After speculation that two new women would be added to the cast, Tutor confirmed suspicions last week. “Well… the secret’s officially out. Witney Carson just made one of Dancing With the Stars’ biggest announcements Monday, as it was revealed that she is pregnant and still returning as a professional dancer on the show for season 35.  “I feel like I’ve been keeping a dark, dirty secret for a really, really long time,” the two-time mirrorball champion tells The Hollywood Reporter of how she’s feeling about the news being out for the public. Her answer is a reference to a month of speculation that she was expecting her third child with husband Carson McAllister.  Because of the rumors, fans thought this meant Carson was bowing out for season 35, but that is not the case. She is continuing on as a Dancing pro this fall, and is partnered up with Guillermo Rodriguez. Tyler Duckworth, the two-time winner of MTV’s The Challenge and former Real World: Key West star, has died. He was 44. His mother, Toni, announced his death on Facebook Thursday. “My son, Tyler, passed away earlier this week. Cause of death has yet to be determined,” she wrote, adding that she would share a follow-up post when a cause of death was made available. The Grand Forks Police Department told People that officers were sent to his residence on Tuesday after a neighbor reported water coming through the ceiling from his apartment. Duckworth was found dead in his bathroom, with police telling the outlet an investigation is pending “there. doesn’t appear to be any signs of foul play or suspicious death.” Duckworth joined the MTV family as a castmember on The Real World: Key West in 2006.
