Brits will be able to watch Simu Liu‘s new hacker thriller on Channel 4. The Copenhagen Test will launch April 8, the network unveiled on Wednesday, alongside the release of the show’s trailer. The series follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu), who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. “Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers,” a plot synopsis reads, “he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.” Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Brian d’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant also star in the Peacock Original. Its lead, Liu, is best known for his roles in the MCU’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as well as Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
