Iranian state media has released a video it says shows cruise missiles targeting the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier. Press TV reported on Wednesday (March 25) that the US warship was forced to change course after land-to-sea missiles were launched to “assert” the Islamic Republic‘s “maritime sovereignty” and to counter threats from the United States‘ “hostile fleet”. It has not been possible to independently verify the footage, which appears to show missiles being fired into the night sky as a man off camera yells, “Allahu Akbar”, which translates as either “God is greater” or “God is the Greatest”. Iranian state broadcaster, Press TV, reported that a senior official announced Iran would end the war when it decided to and when its conditions are met. US officials said the aircraft carrier wasn’t damaged, continued to fully operate and carry out its role in the Sea of Oman, The Sun reports. Nicola Peltz appeared to take a pointed swipe at her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family while discussing his relationship with her parents. The eldest Beckham child, 27, recently accused his “controlling” parents of trying to “endlessly ruin” his marriage to Nicola and said he has no plans to reconcile with them. He has also reportedly told his family to only contact him through his lawyers and recently removed a tattoo tribute to David. Amid the bitter fallout, US actress Nicola, 31, made it clear that Brooklyn remains very close to her family. When asked by Elle how her parents, billionaire Nelson Peltz, 83, and model Claudia Heffner Peltz, 71, have welcomed Brooklyn into their family, Nicola said: “Like another son.” She added that Brooklyn “loves playing football with her siblings”, stating: “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.” Nicola made it clear that Brooklyn is very close with her family (Getty Images) The model also said of her husband: “Brooklyn supports my dreams and is the sweetest when I …
MS Now host Jen Psaki had plenty of material to pick from as she roasted President Donald Trump over a rambling speech he delivered on Wednesday during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. It was hard to keep track of all the gaffes and distortions the US president dropped during his address, during which he argued that countries sometimes need a “dictator,” repeatedly mixed up “Greenland” and “Iceland,” and bizarrely bragged about people calling him “daddy.” During Wednesday’s episode of The Briefing with Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary used the icky nickname to mock Trump. “Hey, daddy, I have a question for you. Why are we talking about Iceland all of a sudden?” she asked. “I mean, I thought the territory that you wanted to take over is Greenland, not Iceland,” the pundit continued. “You can see them on the map there. Two different countries.” Sarcastically, Psaki added, “But hey, we all make mistakes from time to time. A slip of the tongue. I mean, it’s not like you repeated that …
