The roughly 2,000-foot pool turned green with algae just days after the Trump administration completed its $14 million resurfacing project, coating its floor an “American flag blue.” “Now, not even a week later, it’s already completely green — it’s Mexican flag green,” Kimmel joked Tuesday. “Experts are saying that when Trump had it painted dark blue, he made the problem worse, because the darker color retains more heat and algae thrives in warmer water,” the late night host pointed out. “You know, he promised he would drain the swamp. Instead, he spent 14 million of our dollars building a new one. Jimmy Kimmel mocked Trump over his $14 million refurbishment of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which …

France Bans Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir After ‘Unspeakable’ Flotilla Detainee Taunts

PARIS (AP) — France on Saturday banned Israel’s far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, citing his “unspeakable” behavior targeting activists from a flotilla to Gaza who were detained by his police force. “As of today, Itamar Ben-Gvir is banned from entering French territory. This decision follows his unspeakable actions toward French and European citizens who were passengers on the Global Sumud Flotilla,” the French foreign minister, Jean-Noël Barrot, announced in a post on X. “We cannot tolerate that French nationals can be threatened, intimidated or brutalized in this way — all the more so by a public official,” Barrot posted, calling on the European Union to also sanction Ben-Gvir. The Associated Press has sought comment from Ben-Gvir’s spokesperson and the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This week, Ben-Gvir sparked global outrage after promoting a video of himself taunting detained flotilla activists. In one clip, Ben-Gvir is seen waving a large Israeli flag over hunched-over detainees whose hands appear to be bound. In another, he taunts a kneeling detainee whose wrists are zip-tied, yelling …

Iran taunts Trump with video of ‘aircraft carrier attack’ after spurning US’s peace plan | World | News

Iranian state media has released a video it says shows cruise missiles targeting the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier. Press TV reported on Wednesday (March 25) that the US warship was forced to change course after land-to-sea missiles were launched to “assert” the Islamic Republic‘s “maritime sovereignty” and to counter threats from the United States‘ “hostile fleet”. It has not been possible to independently verify the footage, which appears to show missiles being fired into the night sky as a man off camera yells, “Allahu Akbar”, which translates as either “God is greater” or “God is the Greatest”. Iranian state broadcaster, Press TV, reported that a senior official announced Iran would end the war when it decided to and when its conditions are met. US officials said the aircraft carrier wasn’t damaged, continued to fully operate and carry out its role in the Sea of Oman, The Sun reports. Iranian Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said the “hostile” US carrier group would be targeted with “crushing strikes” if it came within range of Iran’s missile systems, …

Nicola Peltz taunts the Beckhams as she praises her parents’ treatment of ‘sweet’ Brooklyn

Nicola Peltz appeared to take a pointed swipe at her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family while discussing his relationship with her parents. The eldest Beckham child, 27, recently accused his “controlling” parents of trying to “endlessly ruin” his marriage to Nicola and said he has no plans to reconcile with them. He has also reportedly told his family to only contact him through his lawyers and recently removed a tattoo tribute to David. Amid the bitter fallout, US actress Nicola, 31, made it clear that Brooklyn remains very close to her family. When asked by Elle how her parents, billionaire Nelson Peltz, 83, and model Claudia Heffner Peltz, 71, have welcomed Brooklyn into their family, Nicola said: “Like another son.” She added that Brooklyn “loves playing football with her siblings”, stating: “He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.” Nicola made it clear that Brooklyn is very close with her family (Getty Images) The model also said of her husband: “Brooklyn supports my dreams and is the sweetest when I …

Jen Psaki Taunts ‘Daddy’ Trump Over Greenland Gaffe

MS Now host Jen Psaki had plenty of material to pick from as she roasted President Donald Trump over a rambling speech he delivered on Wednesday during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. It was hard to keep track of all the gaffes and distortions the US president dropped during his address, during which he argued that countries sometimes need a “dictator,” repeatedly mixed up “Greenland” and “Iceland,” and bizarrely bragged about people calling him “daddy.” During Wednesday’s episode of The Briefing with Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary used the icky nickname to mock Trump. “Hey, daddy, I have a question for you. Why are we talking about Iceland all of a sudden?” she asked. “I mean, I thought the territory that you wanted to take over is Greenland, not Iceland,” the pundit continued. “You can see them on the map there. Two different countries.” Sarcastically, Psaki added, “But hey, we all make mistakes from time to time. A slip of the tongue. I mean, it’s not like you repeated that …
