Knee brace gone Sci-Fi The RecoveryTherm Knee looks straight out of a Sci-Fi film. It’s big, somewhat bulky, and very similar to what you might recognize as a standard knee brace. It uses a soft neoprene infused with germanium fabric and has three hook-and-loop closures that secure the unit around your knee with a circular opening for the kneecap. That’s where the similarities to a standard brace end. Four prominently placed fan units protrude from the device, working to provide the heating, cooling, and vibration therapies. On their underside is a metal plate that makes contact with your body and transfers the temperature therapy to your knee joint. Above the fan units is an equally sized analog control panel where you can cycle between heat and cold and adjust the vibration strength. (It also uses a USB-C rechargeable battery pack, which makes life easy.) Compared to other recovery tech, the device is relatively portable.
