Former Liverpool and Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe to appear in court over alleged assault | UK News

Former Liverpool and Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe will appear in court next month, charged with actual bodily harm. The Metropolitan Police said the 30-year-old was arrested at London Luton Airport last month in connection with an alleged assault on Sunday 14 December last year. Ibe, of Chislehurst, Southeast London, was arrested at the airport and taken into custody on 30 January. He has been released on bail and will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on 6 March. Ibe joined Liverpool in 2012 and made 58 appearances for the side, before loan stints at Derby County and Birmingham City – and eventually joining AFC Bournemouth. Jan 23 : Galatasaray said on Friday they have reached an agreement with Napoli to sign Dutch winger Noa Lang on loan for the remainder of the season. Lang, a Dutch international who has 15 caps for the national team, will join the Istanbul club under a deal that includes a non-mandatory purchase option that can be activated upon Galatasaray’s request. The Turkish side will pay a two million euro ($2.36 million) loan fee to Napoli, while Lang will receive a salary of 1.75 million euros for the season, Galatasaray said. Jan 2 : Crystal ‌Palace have signed Welsh winger Brennan Johnson from Tottenham Hotspur on a four-and-a-half year deal for a club-record transfer fee, the Premier League club said on Friday. Financial details were not disclosed but British media reported Palace signed Johnson for 35 million pounds ($47.16 million). Palace, who are 10th in the Premier League, said Johnson would be eligible to make his debut away at Newcastle United on Sunday. “I’m really delighted ‌that Brennan has joined the club.
