Dr Caitlin Todd’s (Caroline Harker) blackmail against Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) intensifies in Emmerdale next week, and the secret could be on the brink of exposure.
Will Charity be able to find the money in time, or will the fact baby Leyla is actually her child – fathered by Ross Barton (Michael Parr) – be revealed?
Speaking of Ross, his romance with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) reaches new heights as they enjoy their secret trysts, unaware that her step-daughter Gabby (Rosie Bentham) is upset about his lack of interest in her.
Elsewhere, Archie Breckle (Kai Assi) has to face up to the repercussions of his actions, and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) continues to spiral.
Here’s everything happening in Emmerdale between Monday, 1 and Thursday 4 June.
4 Emmerdale spoilers for next week
1. Dr Caitlin Todd deals Charity Dingle an ultimatum
Some terrible news arrives for Charity – Kim Tate (Claire King) has decided to pullout out buying her share of The Woolpack. Desperate for the money, she asks her for a loan instead.
A shouting match ensues in the back room, which is overheard by Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), and she demands to know everything. Charity admits that she’s being blackmailed by Todd, and they decide to form a plan.
Together, they’ll sneak into Home Farm and grab some money from the safe…
Will they be successful?
Either way, Charity manages to muster up some more cash as a down payment, but Todd laughs her off and asks for the rest of the cash by the following day, or she’ll blow the secret at Sarah’s 21st.
2. Ross Barton and Laurel Thomas’s affair heats up
Gabby drowns her sorrows and opens up to Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) about Ross’s rejection. The women have a heart-to-heart and Dawn reckons there’s only one woman he’s interested in and it’s not her.
Ross has promised to keep his relationship with Laurel on the down low, and the two end up enjoying another passionate moment.
Village gossip Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is thrilled by the idea of her best pal having a new man, and so desperately wants to tell the news to Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker).
Later in the week, Laurel is suddenly awash with guilt when she believes that Gabby may feel like she’s being betrayed.
3. Kim Tate is suspicious of Sam Dingle
Sam Dingle (James Hooten) asks Ross to arrange some more dance lessons so that he can impress Lydia (Karen Blick). She’s still blissfully unaware of their meetings and is upset when he turns down a night in front of the telly.
To make matters worse, Kim learns that Sam has been lying about working extra hours and her suspicions about his affair begin to grow.
When Ross spends another night with Laurel, Sam interrupts and they’re forced to quickly cover by saying that she’s going to be the one to teach him how to dance.
4. Archie Breckle faces punishment from Kerry and Eric Pollard
Kerry (Laura Norton) and Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) are stunned to realise that they’ve been conned by Archie and decide to get their cash back from him.
His punishment is to start working shifts in David’s Shop, and it’s not long before Pollard expresses how impressed he was by the teenager’s money-making scheme.
What is Pollard up to?
5. Liam Cavanagh tries to help Cain Dingle
After a troubling few months, and having seemingly spiralled following his radical prostatectomy operation, Cain is still struggling to get his life back on the right track.
Mate and Emmerdale GP Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) steps in, hoping to provide a practical solution.
