Is A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder returning for season 3?

When Connor’s brother Jamie disappears in season 2 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Pip has no idea that the investigation she reluctantly takes on will lead her down such a dark path, uncovering a twisted revenge plot linked to a child serial killer.

Fortunately, Jamie emerges physically unscathed — although he’s unlikely to ever forget what he was pulled into – but the same can’t be said for Pip.

“I think she’s a bit checked out [by the end],” Emma Myers said of where we leave the amateur sleuth. “She has definitely lost hope in every single person who said they would help her. She’s had to do everything herself again, and it hasn’t turned out the way she hoped.”

Myers went on to say that she relates to that aspect of Pip’s character “on a personal level as well”.

“She comes easily to me – especially her dark side.”

What could happen in a potential A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder season 3?

In the third and final instalment of Jacksons’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy, Pip is “haunted by the way her last investigation ended”.

“Soon she’ll be leaving for Cambridge University but then another case finds her… and this time it’s all about Pip,” continues the official synopsis.

“She is used to online death threats, but there’s one that catches her eye, someone who keeps asking: who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears? And it’s not just online. Pip has a stalker who knows where she lives.”

But while the police refuse to step in, Pip gets to work and uncovers “connections between her stalker and a local serial killer” who has been in prison for six years, but as with the Andie Bell case, she thinks the wrong person has been found guilty.

“As the deadly game plays out, Pip realises that everything in Little Kilton is finally coming full circle. If Pip doesn’t find the answers, this time she will be the one who disappears…”

No pressure, then.

I studied medicine in Brighton and qualified as a doctor and for the last 2 years been writing blogs. While there are are many excellent blogs devoted to the topics of faith, humanism, atheism, political viewpoints, and wider kinds of rationalism and philosophical doubt, those are not the only focus here.Im going to blog about what ever comes to my mind in a day.
