There is no suggestion that being named in the files implies wrongdoing. Several social media users pointed out that the files “vanished” minutes after they were released on Friday. One of the users wrote on X: “Holy s***, this page seems to have been vanished from the #EpsteinFiles they just released: https://justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA01660679.pdf Can anyone else pull it up?.”
Another user wrote: “The DOJ is deleting the epstein files they just released…. Luckily screenshots are made and it gives a clear picture why the @TheJusticeDept is deleting the files….. Just horrifying sickening stuff…. The whole @POTUS administration is a huge pedophile organisation.”
A third user wrote: “Epstein files are nowhere to be found on the trend line today after DOJ deleted extremely disturbing details about Trump’s involvement. Elon Musk and his merry band of mods are working overtime today to keep the cult focused only on Bill Gates STD.”
One document claims that an unidentified woman was made to perform oral sex on the US president, 35 years ago.
It was claimed that a young woman allegedly bit Mr Trump during a sexual encounter. Many individuals have already appeared in the released material, among them former president Bill Clinton.
Photographs of women in the files have been obscured, with the exception of images of Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s convicted associate. Maxwell is currently serving a 20‑year prison sentence for her role in recruiting underage girls for Epstein.
Neither Mr Trump nor Mr Clinton has been formally accused of any criminal conduct. Previous document releases have stated that Mr Trump took multiple flights on Epstein’s private jet.
A statement from DoJ stated: “”This production may include fake or falsely submitted images, documents or videos, as everything that was sent to the FBI by the public was included in the production that is responsive to the Act.
“Some of the documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear, the claims are unfounded and false, and if they have a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”
