Behind the scenes as she prepared for her wedding

Behind the scenes as she prepared for her wedding

For any bride, the morning of the wedding is a sacred time filled with anticipation, laughter, and a few pre-ceremony butterflies. But when your reception venue is your family’s ancestral home, those special moments become part of a grander family history. Here, we’re inviting our HELLO! VIP members behind the scenes for an incredibly rare, intimate look inside Lady Marina Windsor’s personal getting-ready suite at Hovingham Hall.

While this week’s magazine takes you down the aisle, this exclusive digital gallery captures the raw emotion of the morning preparations before the guests arrive. Surrounded by her close friends, family, and a bridal party consisting of 13 bridesmaids and three maids of honour – including her sister, Lady Amelia Windsor – Marina’s suite was a sanctuary of joy.

More on Lady Marina Windsor

These beautiful, private portraits offer a close-up look at the delicate artistry of her custom Larissa von Planta sustainable gown and antique Hapsburg lace veil. You can also see Marina don the historic Diamond Crochet Bandeau tiara – a stunning royal heirloom passed down from her great-grandmother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, which was also worn by her grandmother and her aunt, Lady Helen Taylor.

Guided by the calming presence of her closest friends – who handled her hair and makeup – Marina was the epitome of serene, timeless bridal elegance. Step inside her personal album to see these exclusive morning moments for yourself.

I studied medicine in Brighton and qualified as a doctor and for the last 2 years been writing blogs. While there are are many excellent blogs devoted to the topics of faith, humanism, atheism, political viewpoints, and wider kinds of rationalism and philosophical doubt, those are not the only focus here.Im going to blog about what ever comes to my mind in a day.
