Fantasy Premier League tips 2025/26: FPL midfielders to sign

A team runs on its midfield, but in Fantasy Premier League, the centre of the park is more than just an engine room.

It’s the home of plenty of attacking talent, from tricky wingers to genius playmakers and a fair few players that really should be forwards.

The introduction of defensive contributions has meant midfield destroyers and generals are more valuable but really, it’s all about players that make a difference in the final third.

Radio Times brings you our Fantasy Premier League tips, including the midfielders you should sign for your FPL team in 2026/27.

Best FPL midfielders 2026/27

Budget FPL midfielder – Pascal Groß (BHA) £5.5m

A familiar name for any FPL veterans, Brighton midfielder Pascal Groß has totted up plenty of points across his Premier League career.

The Seagulls looked well-placed to kick on under Fabian Hürzeler this season and the German, who pull the strings in midfield, should be central to that.

Groß will play plenty of minutes, create chances, offer a goal threat in open play, and is expected to be on penalties.

Mid-price FPL midfielder – Morgan Rogers (CHE) £7.5m

The pressure is on Morgan Rogers to live up to his nine-figure price tag, but Chelsea’s summer signing, who piled on the goals and assists at Aston Villa, should hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are not playing European football, which means Rogers should play lots of Premier League minutes and will be fresh to wreak havoc on opposition defences.

Premium FPL midfielder – Bruno Fernandes (MNU) £12m

He is the most expensive midfielder in FPL for a reason. Fresh off the back of breaking the assists record last season, Bruno Fernandes is set to be Man Utd’s talisman again this term.

Midfield additions like Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos should mean Fernandes spends more time in and around the box, which can only be a good thing for your points tally.
