Among all of the resources in Pokémon Pokopia, Paper might be one of the most useful ones.
It’s similar to other materials like Lumber and Concrete, and once you hit the late-game, you’ll want as much of this stuff as you can get to decorate your island with.
But how do you get Paper in Pokémon Pokopia? Here’s a little guide to tell you everything you need to know!
How to get Paper in Pokémon Pokopia explained
In order to get Paper in Pokémon Pokopia, you need to give Wastepaper to a Pokémon with the Recycle specialty.
The two places you can find Wastepaper are in Sparkling Skylands, which is one of the last new areas you’ll come across in the game, and on Drifloon’s Dream Island by showing them a Dragonite Doll.
Once you’ve got your Wastepaper, you’ll need to find a Pokémon with the Recycle specialty.
The first of these that you’ll likely meet is Trubbish, who you’ll come across during the Bleak Beach storyline.
Including Trubbish, here’s a full list of all the Pokémon with the Recycle specialty:
- Magnezone
- Koffing
- Weezing
- Trubbish
- Garbodor
- Cinccino
- Porygon
- Porygon2
- Beldum
- Metang
- Metagross
Just like any other material, hand your Wastepaper over to one of these Recycle Pokémon and wait for them to process it all.
Every piece of Wastepaper you put in will be turned into two pieces of Paper, doubling the amount you have.
As well as being useful in the crafting of items like Bookshelves and Books, you’ll need Paper to complete Skyland Building 4F during the ‘Rebuild the Huge Building!’, ‘Important Request’ and the third ‘Team Initiation Challenge’.
