I’ve been lucky enough to test some great Skechers walking shoes over my time at Fit&Well.
It’s one of my favorite brands as it makes high-quality shoes at a lower price point than competitors. I love Hoka and Brooks, but those brands cost more.
Plus, while you might be waiting nine months or more for a new release to come on sale, Skechers tends to apply discounts much quicker.
A great example of this is the Aero Spark, which I tested last year, and is now reduced on Amazon by up to 61% for women and 60% for men.
If you didn’t want to pay full price ($145), a discount of $88 might take the sting out of the tail.
As well as being more affordable, Skechers shoes are some of the most comfortable around, too.
The Aero Spark is a road running shoe with a wedge of bouncy midsole cushioning that takes some of the effort out of running and walking.
If you work long hours on your feet, are exploring a new city on foot or just like to prioritize comfort, this might be the shoe for you.
It has quite a roomy toe box and there are wide-fit options available, so it’s suitable for a variety of foot shapes—something I find other brands don’t cater to as well.
