Salma Hayek has certainly been making the most of her time in the South of France during Cannes Film Festival!
The Hollywood star took to social media on May 24 to share a series of photos taken during her downtime at the star-studded event, including a gorgeous beachside photo.
The 59-year-old looked stunning in a figure-hugging Grecian-inspired gown featuring a high neckline and draping.
The floor-length dress was paired with a matching headband. The sunset ocean view in the background was the perfect backdrop for the picture.
The actress was joined by her husband, François-Henri Pinault, at the 12-day event. Salma has been enjoying the past few weeks in Europe, and before attending Cannes, she was in Venice, Italy, attending the Fondazione Cini, Isola Di San Giorgio dinner at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
Salma’s husband, along with her 18-year-old daughter Valentina, and stepdaughter Mathilde, were also present. Salma is devoted mom and stepmom – along with Mathilde, she is also a stepmother to François Jr. and Augustin James.
The star kept her daughter out of the spotlight during her childhood although Valentina has been pictured more at public events now that she’s older.
Giving a rare update on the teenager during an interview on Today, Salma shared: “She’s going her own way. She wants to study political science and then, as a minor, film because she wants to be a director. But she doesn’t want to study to be a director. She said, ‘It’s in my blood. I want to spend the time learning something more complicated.'”
Salma and Francois primarily live in London, but they also have a home in Los Angeles, where they spend a lot of time too.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2022, Salma opened up about her unique living situation in the UK. “It’s not [haunted] like before,” said Salma.
“I didn’t see these but somebody didn’t want to work there anymore because the piano played by itself, and he wouldn’t go to the third floor because he saw…”
She added: “Lights go on and off, or the doors and windows open and close. I’ve seen some of it.” Valentina was in the audience and Ellen asked her to confirm if she’d seen anything spooky happening at their house. “Oh yeah, I get it the worst. I’ve seen the actual things, [the ghosts] twice,” she confessed.
“But a lot of people in the house have seen it,” added Salma, explaining: “My husband thinks it’s absolute nonsense, I’m always the negotiator in the middle so I said, ‘I’m going to bring somebody, even if it’s not true, at least they might psychologically think it’s over.'”
