Seven Dials Viewers Turn To This Agatha Christie Mystery On Netflix

After the success of Netflix’s recent Agatha Christie adaptation Seven Dials, another series based on the Queen of Crime’s work is having a resurgence on the platform. More recently, the service has quietly added six seasons of Marple and 13 series of Poirot to their catalogue. According to Metro, Marple began climbing Netflix’s top 10 list earlier this week, with viewers seemingly clambering to watch another classic Agatha Christie adaptation off the back of Seven Dials. Originally airing on ITV in 2004, the drama follows Jane Marple, who uses her sleuthing skills to crack cases in her quaint English village of St Mary Mead. The late Geraldine McEwan brought Marple to life in the first three seasons, before Julia McKenzie took over the role for the latter three. Christie purists be warned, though, that this show takes some liberties with the source material, with the show inserting Marple into other Christie stories that she was not originally included in. Fortunately, McKenna-Bruce is absolutely “it.” The 28-year-old actress brings ample …
