Midlands pub forced to tell parents to stop applying for jobs on behalf of their kids
A pub in the Midlands has appealed to parents to stop applying for jobs on behalf of their offspring. Bosses at The Fox in Shipley, on Bridgnorth Road in Wolverhampton, shared a statement on social media about the issue. A spokesperson said that confidence and initiative are qualities they look for in potential staff, so having a parent apply on your behalf does not bode well for job seekers.
