Alisha Crins, 40, allegedly told a teenage student she could not stop thinking about his lips after kissing him, according to police documents. The former PE teacher at Ponaganset High School in Glocester, Rhode Island, has been charged with two counts of third-degree sexual assault. She has pleaded not guilty, The Sun reports. The former student was 17 when he filed a sexual harassment complaint last October. Police say the alleged relationship began when the boy was a sophomore at the school and later escalated into inappropriate texts, images and physical contact. According to the report, Crins allegedly admitted sending the student inappropriate “sexting” messages. She allegedly told officers they included conversations about “having sex” or what might happen “when he turns 18”. Apple’s Car Keys feature appears to be coming to future vehicles made by Indian maker Mahindra, based on code changes discovered by MacRumors in Apple’s Wallet app backend. Car Keys allows an iPhone or Apple Watch with NFC capabilities to unlock a vehicle through the Wallet app. A digital version of a car key is stored in Wallet, and unlocking can be done simply by holding an Apple Watch or ‌iPhone‌ near a compatible vehicle’s NFC reader. Mahindra already supports Samsung Wallet’s Digital Car Key feature for Galaxy devices, but it does not yet offer native Apple Car Key support, so this would need to be implemented by the automobile manufacturer first on future models. What can be done with Car Keys may vary by car manufacturer, but at a minimum, Car Keys can be used to unlock your car, lock your car, and start your car, which are the features available with a physical key. A product recall alert has been issued for a baby car seat product, with people advised to stop using it “immediately”. Maxi-Cosi is recalling all its Family Fix Slide Pro Base seats from buyers, according to recall information on the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS). It warns the baby car seat poses “risk of injuries” to children because of a malfunctioning safety indicator. The baby car seat could risk detaching from the base as a result of the malfunctioning indicator, the recall alert said. “The product presents a risk of injuries because the indicator, which shows whether the seat is correctly fitted, may display ‘green’ even when the car seat is not fully attached to the base,” recall information on the OPSS website reads. “As a result, a user may believe the seat is properly connected when it is not. “This could cause the seat to move or detach, potentially injuring the occupant.” The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, according to the OPSS. But utilising 3D printing could mean that these engineered cells are produced for less money and – crucially – faster, making the treatment more accessible. “When you’re treating very sick patients, some patients might never get the therapy because they’ve deteriorated so much in the three or so weeks it might take to make the CAR T therapy,” says David Coe at CoED Biosciences, a biotechnology company in Cardiff, UK, who wasn’t involved in the latest research.
