It turns out Lisa Kudrow found inspiration in some unlikely places while putting together the third and final season of her Emmy-nominated comedy The Comeback. While promoting the latest iteration of The Comeback, Lisa previously disclosed that one episode would see her character taking part in a fictitious series of The Traitors US, alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Trixie Mattel. During the latest episode, this scene finally aired, with Valerie struggling every bit as much to hide the fact she was a Traitor as you might expect. Add The Comeback to your watchlist Lisa Kudrow stars in one of the greatest sitcoms ever made, and I’m not talking about Friends. That’s not to say the ’90s hit show wasn’t special or that Kudrow didn’t impress as Phoebe Buffay. There’s a reason her breakout role was nominated six times at the Emmys, after all. When Nigel Bates returned to EastEnders in 2024 after 26 years, fans with fond memories of the 90s hoped stepdaughter Clare would follow. It may have taken Nigel’s worsening dementia to bring the character back to Walford, but at last the time has come.
