LEGO launched its first-ever Pokémon set at the start of this year and already we’re getting a new smart version. Today the toy company announced 12 new Pokémon sets as part of the LEGO SMART Play range. Fan favourite characters like Pikachu, Charizard, Squirtle, Gengar, Mewtwo and more will be part of the line-up for young fans aged 6+ to interactive with. Like the other SMART Play sets, this range which produce light motion and sound-effects based on how you play and each set comes with at least one LEGO SMART Brick, SMART Charger and LEGO SMART Tags, which can interact with each other. Sony announced its Bluetooth FlexStrike wireless fight stick last July, and now we know when it will ship and how much it will cost: $200, with preorders opening June 12 and a release date of Aug. 6. The new stick is set to release alongside Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new fighting game from developer Arc System Works, which is the team behind the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue franchises.  Unlike other fight sticks, Sony designed the FlexStrike to integrate with the PlayStation ecosystem. It has DualSense-style controls including touchpad, Share, Options, L3 and R3 buttons, which should make it easy to use all the controller’s functionality while playing, unlike other sticks that use a generic button layout to support multiple platforms.  If you only want to use it to control your character in a fighting game, you can leave the DualSense wireless controller connected to the PS5 for navigating menus. Washington’s economic war on Iran and its ‘shadow’ banking network continues, as on Friday Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced the US has seized $1 billion in Iranian cryptocurrency assets as part of the economic component of President Trump’s Operation Epic Fury. The billion dollar figure represents the running total seized to date, building on prior milestones in the conflict, particularly a recent major April 2026 freeze of $344 million in USDT on the Tron blockchain. By close of April, $500 million total had been seized. And so clearly with the addition since then of some half-billion dollars more in seized digital assets, the US Treasury program has only greatly accelerated in the last several weeks. During his Friday speech before the Reagan National Economic Forum, Bessent stated: “Just outright grabbed the wallets. Some of them may be typing in right now and might not realize their wallet had been grabbed.” Assets are held “on behalf of the Iranian people” – he described, while framing that the Iranian government had ‘stolen’ the money from the Iranian populace. After weeks of rumours on social media, Activision has finally confirmed that the next Call of Duty game will be Modern Warfare 4. Since first releasing in 2005, CoD has released on a yearly cycle, with new main-series games arriving every single year since Call of Duty 2. And 2026 will be no different, with a return to the hugely popular Modern Warfare series arriving on 23 October 2026. As predicted by leakers, the story will focus on a war on the Korean Peninsula.
