Dylan Dreyer and Jenna Bush Hager accidentally twin on TODAY — their co-stars’ reactions are priceless

Dylan Dreyer and Jenna Bush Hager accidentally twin on TODAY — their co-stars’ reactions are priceless

Jenna Bush Hager and Dylan Dreyer accidentally ended up looking like twins on the air – a very fashionable pair at that! Jenna and Dylan, both 44, showed up for NBC’s TODAY Show on Thursday, June 4 coincidentally in very similar looks – powder blue sleeveless mini dresses with blonde bobs, with Dylan’s having a large bow feature by the neckline. As can be seen in the video above, their co-hosts quickly dubbed the moment “beautiful,” and clearly the moment was unplanned, with the two anchors revealing that while they had seen each other in the dressing room beforehand, they weren’t exactly aware of what each person would wear. Plus, it also helped at least one other co-anchor avoid making his own fashion clash, when Carson Daly admitted that he almost wore the same tie as Craig Melvin. The show later played on the moment on social media, uploading a clip to the TODAY Instagram page with the caption: “@dylandreyernbc and @jennabhager are matching down to the bob!” Fans were quickly enamored by the near-perfect …

Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst on ‘Wide Awake,’ mental health and Bob Dylan

Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst on ‘Wide Awake,’ mental health and Bob Dylan

Conor Oberst was still a boyish 24-year-old from Omaha when he dropped the pair of albums that took his band Bright Eyes from indie-rock celebrity to voice-of-a-generation prestige. Released on the same day in January 2005, “I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning” and “Digital Ash in a Digital Urn” pondered love, war, drugs and technology against the backdrop of Oberst’s recent move to New York — and did it in songs that put frayed-edge folk (on “Wide Awake”) next to sleek electronic pop (on “Digital Ash”). Two decades later, hints of gray streaked the singer-songwriter’s hair as he sat at a picnic table in Lake Hollywood Park on a mid-April afternoon. Oberst, now 46, splits his time these days between Omaha and Los Angeles; here, he’s cultivated a circle of friends that includes Phoebe Bridgers, with whom he’s recorded under the name Better Oblivion Community Center, and the musician and producer Jonathan Wilson, to whom he once rented his house. But Oberst is looking back to his New York City era for a string of concerts …

Dylan Dreyer’s bold outfit called out by Today Show co-stars as she undergoes wardrobe change

Dylan Dreyer turned the May 1 instalment of the Today Show into a fashion spectacle, as she rocked two different looks live on-air.  While reporting for NBC at the Kentucky Derby, she ensured her outfits were perfectly styled for the occasion. However, it seemed that Dylan’s co-stars, Craig Melvin and Sheinelle Jones, weren’t the biggest fans of her striking ensembles. For her first look, Dylan wore a green midi dress from Lela Rose. The garment featured a sleeveless design with an A-line silhouette. The dress was styled with an oversized green hat from Christine A. Moore Millinery that was adorned with pink feather accents. Dylan’s luscious blonde locks were left down in soft waves while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a shimmery eye, a pinch of blush, and a glossy lip. © InstagramDylan’s first outfit “I like that hat by the way,” said Sheinelle, teasing her co-star as they called in to chat with Dylan from Kentucky. “It’s very nice, she’s going to change again for the Third Hour. Aren’t you changing again for …

Joe Dunthorne: ‘Growing up in Swansea, I developed an allergy to Dylan Thomas’ | Books

Joe Dunthorne: ‘Growing up in Swansea, I developed an allergy to Dylan Thomas’ | Books

My earliest reading memoryI only realised how well I knew the Alfie stories by Shirley Hughes when I started reading them to my own children. Every time we read one now, I’m suddenly back in my attic room in Swansea 40 years ago, watching my dad turn the same pages. My favourite book growing upAt 10 years old, I read only Terry Pratchett. As far as I was concerned, there were no other authors. I loved everything he wrote but my favourite was Mort, where the eponymous protagonist is Death’s young apprentice. He learns the skills of the trade: traipsing between appointments, meeting the soon-to-die and reaping their souls. I liked how it made the afterlife seem ordinary, even bureaucratic, with the Grim Reaper more like a taxman – unwelcome wherever he goes. The book that changed me as a teenagerTess of the d’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy was a set text at school and that alone would normally have been enough to make me suspicious. But something about this book cut through. Tess was the first fictional character I properly believed in. …

Dylan Dreyer admits to living ‘two different lives’ in candid confession

Today star Dylan Dreyer got candid about juggling being an acclaimed journalist and career woman with raising her three young sons, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Brian Fichera.  The 44-year-old sat down on her The Parent Chat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, and delved into the reasons she felt she was living “two different lives” as a mom. Dylan compared being a working mom to living as a Severance character, in which they are surgically cut off from their personal lives when they enter their workplace, and vice versa.  “I feel like I have my life that I love. I love my job. I love coming to work. I’m not thinking about my kids,” she said on the podcast.  © Helen Healey/NBC via Getty ImageDylan opened up about juggling her work and home life “And then I go home, and I love being a mom. I love being with the kids, and I’m not really thinking about work. It’s like I’m living two different lives, but they’re all cohesive.“ “I talk about my kids a lot on the show, but I really enjoy when I’m not with them as much as I enjoy being with them,” she continued. Dylan …

Read about that weird situation along with recommendations for queer historical fiction and books centering Black women throughout history. The latter two will be like a palate cleanser after the first. But before you get to the good stuff, you have to eat your bitter AI vegetable shlock. Is Bob Dylan’s New Patreon Newsletter AI-Generated? Nobel Prize-winning singer-songwriter-poet Bob Dylan’s new Patreon features a series of audio essays and short stories that have a whiff of AI about them. Nina Corcoran on Pitchfork noted that one of the stories features “a lot of similes”—something that can be a marker of AI-written content. And the audio essays in the “Lectures From the Grave” series seem to be utilizing an AI voice. Lit Hub’s Brittany Allen notes that all the writing “is framed as ‘curated by’ Bob Dylan, as opposed to the standard ‘written.’ Which language attests that it ain’t Bob, babe.” Is …

Today’s Dylan Dreyer admits ‘It’s not easy’ as she lifts lid on family life

Dylan Dreyer opened up about raising her three boys on TODAY’s Third Hour. The morning show anchor shared that “it’s not easy” being a newly single mom.  After her co-anchor, Craig Melvin, chatted with the bestselling author and podcast host Scott Galloway about the crisis facing young men, Dylan and Laura Jarrett got honest about what it’s like to raise boys. Dylan, who officially filed for divorce from her husband of 12 years, Brian Fichera, in March 2026, is the mom to three sons – Calvin, nine, Oliver, six, and Rusty, five. While Laura is the mom of both a boy, James, six, and a girl, June, three. © InstagramDylan enjoys taking trips with her boys “The idea of ‘friction is a good thing’,” Laura chimed in, giving a nod to the advice Scott preaches on his podcast, adding: “Building resilience and how you do that [for your children]. You build it through them throwing obstacles and making them feel okay about it not being okay.” Dylan jokingly chimed in: “The actual obstacle in front …
