While speaking with Rachel Sennott for Variety & CNN Actors on Actors in a new interview published Monday, the comedian said he felt sure that he was going to leave the iconic sketch comedy show at the end of season 50, in part because he felt like the “seasoning” in the show’s iconic skits. “There was a lot of uncertainty about what the show would look like after season 50,” Yang, 35, recalled. “I was like, ‘I think the show is in a great place without me.’ I never like I was that central to it, to be honest.” He said: “I feel like there was a weird utility to me. I was like, ‘Okay, I’ve accepted this.’ I never played the dad or …

Iran Says 35 Ships Exited Strait Of Hormuz As Rubio Condemns Tolls

The US blockade of the Iranian blockade is looking increasingly more porous. Iran said 35 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours in coordination with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Iranian state broadcaster reported on Friday. The navy had already reported on Wednesday that 26 ships had passed through the strait within 24 hours. On Friday, the data provider Kpler confirmed only 10 passages on Wednesday. This represented an increase from the four passages recorded the previous day. Almost All Non-Iran Tankers That Entered The Persian Gulf During The War, Have Successfully Exited With A Cargo

Despite a near-halt in daily Hormuz traffic, Bloomberg reports that almost all large non-Iranian tankers that have entered the Persian Gulf during the war appear to have successfully exited with a cargo, underscoring the emergence of a small group of shipowners willing to risk crossing the Strait of Hormuz. At least 19 oil- and liquefied petroleum gas-carrying ships without Iranian links have both entered and exited Hormuz since March 1, according to vessel-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg. In contrast, about 100 such tankers that entered the Gulf before the conflict remain stuck for fear of attacks, the data show. As noted above, merchant shipping through the vital energy chokepoint has – for the most part – ground to a halt since US-Israeli attacks at the end of February triggered a wave of Iranian retaliation and led Tehran to tighten its grip over the waterway. Yet a handful of vessels have been managing to cross under an array of schemes, including deals arranged at a government level (with payment in bitcoin) in some cases (and keep …

Scott Patterson Exited Sullivan’s Crossing Due to Creative Differences

Sullivan’s Crossing fans will be missing a friendly face from the upcoming fourth season. Scott Patterson, who plays Harry ‘Sully’ Sullivan, the estranged father Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) has reconnected with, took to Instagram on Thursday to share his side as to why he won’t be returning for the new season, which is set to premiere on April 20. “Every actor knows what it’s like to fall in love with a character and a story. I fell in love with Sully and have nothing but fondness for him,” he wrote. “The creative differences were becoming untenable and I just sadly realized that the show was not something that I could agree to continue.” Patterson wanted to set the record straight regarding his reasoning for exiting the show, as he claims other people speaking out aren’t telling the whole truth. While he didn’t name anyone specific, Sullivan’s Crossing showrunner Roma Roth previously told People that Patterson’s absence in the new season was due to how season three ended. “Season 3 of Sullivan’s Crossing ended with Sully leaving for …
