Heated Rivalry season 2 casting bombshell as fan-favorite actor exits talks: report

Heated Rivalry season two is going into production this August with Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams returning as Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander. The second season will expand the world and introduce TV fans to characters such as Troy Barrett, Harris Drover, and Wyatt Hayes, and Jacob Tierney and the team behind the show have been making big casting decisions. Fancasting for Rachel Reid’s Game Changers series has been taking place online for a long time, and there’s been a big push for Canadian actor Jack Innanen to take on the role of Troy, a hockey player with a nasty reputation, or Wyatt, a backup goaltender who is also traded. Jack himself revealed earlier in 2026 that he had been in conversations with the Heated Rivalry team. © HBOHudson Williams and Connor Storrie in a still from Heated Rivalry However, a new report seems to have closed the door officially on hopes that Jack would join the cast, with Entertainment Weekly reporting that Jack was offered a role, but was “unable to accept due to production conflicts”. Dragons’ Den star Touker Suleyman exits BBC series after 10 years

After a decade on the BBC, Dragons’ Den star Touker Suleyman has announced he’s exiting the series after a “memorable run”. The entrepreneur said it was “time for new blood” to take his spot in a lengthy statement explaining his decision to step away on Saturday 6 June.  “After ten extraordinary years as a dragon on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, I have made the decision to step down from the show,” Touker, 72, wrote on Instagram. “It has been an immense privilege to sit in that chair, to meet so many passionate and talented entrepreneurs and to invest in business and people I truly believed in.” The BBC star said the show had given him a platform to invest in founders and companies and share his business career wisdom with others. He added: “I hope that, in some small way, I made a difference to those who stood opposite me.” “At 72, I find myself reflecting on what matters most,” he continued, adding that he was “proud of every deal made, every pitch challenged and every …

Build 2026: Microsoft’s MDASH exits preview with 100+ specialized threat-hunting AI agents

Microsoft wants to secure code, agents, data, and models. MDASH uses AI agents to cut through scanner noise. Last month, Microsoft introduced MDASH, its Microsoft Security multi-model agentic scanning harness. Despite the unfortunate name, this was a big swing, designed to reduce security alerts from constant noise to those that directly cause exploitable vulnerabilities. The big news today coming from Build 2026 is that Microsoft is folding the MDASH capability into a full enterprise security control plane, connecting Defender, GitHub Code Security, Agent 365, and Purview. Also: Enterprise AI agents are multiplying fast, and Microsoft wants full control of them According to Microsoft’s chief security architect Aleš Holeček, “AI vulnerability discovery has crossed from research curiosity into production-grade defense at enterprise scale, and the durable advantage lies in the agentic system around the model rather than any single model itself.” How MDASH changes vulnerability analysis One of the big problems …

EastEnders airs 4 exits amid wedding drama and shock diagnosis

EastEnders airs 4 exits amid wedding drama and shock diagnosis

Albert Square’s revolving door is back in business, as four EastEnders characters have left during yet another dramatic episode. It’s been a busy old week in Walford, with Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) returning after two years to tell ex-fiancé Zack Hudson (James Farrar) that she had moved on with a new fella. This spurred him on to open his heart to Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) once again, though she reassured him that her commitment was towards husband-to-be Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw). In retaliation, Zack alluded to Ross that Vicki had been cheating again. It didn’t take him long to realise that Zack was referring to himself, and at the alter, he asked her outright whether this was true. Her silence was very telling, and in today’s episode, it all kicked off. Ross rushed out of the marquee as Vicki tired to explain herself, and planted a huge punch across Zack’s face. Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) left after the wedding drama. BBC Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) – who also made a comeback this week – was in …

EastEnders airs surprise return and 2 exits for iconic characters

EastEnders airs surprise return and 2 exits for iconic characters

Take a deep breath, EastEnders fans. Two legendary characters have departed Albert Square, as another beloved local arrived home. Today’s episode kicked off with Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) suspicions about Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) being confirmed. The keys that Mark had dropped in the car lot while he was trying to rob the safe were a perfect match for the Mitchell residence’s kitchen door, meaning that he was surely the man responsible for the dealership’s recent vehicle thefts. Armed with his evidence, Max and girlfriend Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) publicly accused him, and Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) leapt to his defence. Having teamed up with him to sell some dodgy motors, she couldn’t risk being implicated. Suddenly, Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) appeared and made another attempt to connect with his estranged son. He said that he was the one responsible, and not Mark. Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) drove siblings Sam (Kim Medcalf) and Grant (Ross Kemp) out of Walford. BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron Max was still contemplating police involvement, though moneybags Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) stepped in …

Sabalenka exits Rome with injury concern ahead of French Open

ROME, May 10 : Aryna Sabalenka’s French Open preparations suffered a setback following a third-round defeat by Sorana Cirstea at the Italian Open, with the world No. 1 now looking to shake off an injury ahead of the Grand Slam that begins this month. Sabalenka needed treatment late in her meeting with Cirstea on Saturday before she fell 2-6 6-3 7-5 for her second defeat in three matches after a quarterfinal loss to Hailey Baptiste at the Madrid Open last month. “I feel like I didn’t play well from the beginning till the end. I started really well, but I dropped the level,” four-time Grand Slam champion Sabalenka said in Rome. “I felt like my body was limiting me from performing at the highest level. She stepped in and played incredible tennis. She didn’t really give me many opportunities. “That was a tough one. But I guess we never lose; we only learn, so it’s okay.” Sabalenka’s disappointing claycourt swing follows a stellar run on hardcourts, during which she captured the Brisbane title, reached the …

After nearly two decades on ABC’s long-running medical drama, on-and-off couple Teddy and Owen bid an emotional farewell to Seattle Grace Hospital in Thursday’s season 22 finale. Unlike many characters whose time on the show ends tragically, however, the two are spared and move to Paris with their two children. “I feel like we gave them a beautiful ending,” Marinis told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that the “very difficult and painful conversations” about writing off Teddy and Owen began shortly after the New Year. Marinis revealed that the writers toyed with numerous storyline endings, including an “iconic Grey’s Anatomy death” for Owen, but ultimately decided against a definitive …

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Owen and Teddy Exits Explained as ‘Painful’ Decision

[This story contains major spoilers from the season 22 finale of Grey’s Anatomy.] Grey’s Anatomy fans were surprised when it was announced that longtime stars Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver would be leaving the show at the end of this season. In the season 22 finale that aired on Thursday night, the two actors who play Dr. Owen Hunt and Dr. Teddy Altman walked off the ABC set for their last time together, after their divorced characters reconciled and decided to make a new life with the children they share in Paris. Teddy and Owen were given a happy ending, and the reason they survived the often deadly and always dramatic medical drama is because showrunner Meg Marinis wanted to leave the door open for their return. The move to write off Owen and Teddy from Grey’s was a difficult one, sparked by a financial decision. “I feel like we gave them a beautiful ending,” Marinis tells The Hollywood Reporter of the actors who joined Grey’s in season five and season six, respectively. “Those are …

Sam Allberry exits church, Keller Center over relationship with man

Sam Allberry exits church, Keller Center over relationship with man

(RNS) — Sam Allberry, a pastor and apologist who advocates for celibacy as the faithful path for LGBTQ+ Christians, has been “disqualified from gospel ministry” following an “inappropriate relationship with an adult man in 2022,” according to a statement from elders at Immanuel Nashville, a nondenominational church where he has served as an associate pastor since 2023. The Nashville, Tennessee, church’s statement, first reported by Protestia, said church elders were first made aware of the relationship between Allberry and another man in spring 2024, and based on “information available at the time and the posture of Sam and the other party,” the church determined it wasn’t disqualifying behavior. But after receiving new information this January, per the statement, the elders reopened an investigation into Allberry’s actions. “(W)hile the relationship did not go as far as it could have, Sam’s conduct constituted a serious breach of trust and a failure to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel,” the statement said. “The Elders are unanimous in their decision that Sam is currently disqualified from gospel ministry. …

Grey’s Anatomy Cliffhanger Set Up Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver Finale Exits

Grey’s Anatomy Cliffhanger Set Up Kevin McKidd, Kim Raver Finale Exits

Grey’s Anatomy could send Owen and Teddy off with a happy ending — or not. ABC announced last month that veteran stars Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver would be exiting the long-running medical drama created by Shonda Rhimes in the upcoming May 7 season finale. The actors have played Owen and Teddy, respectively, since season five for McKidd and season six for Raver (she took five years off and later returned). Their co-departure is major news for the hit series, which has successfully navigated a changing industry and remains a hit in its 22nd season, but it also makes sense narratively. Their characters are intricately linked on the series as coparents who have had a long on-and-off relationship on the series. The doctors came onto the show as best friends. They eventually got married in season 18, only to split up recently, finalizing their divorce at the beginning of this season. The pair, who share two children, have been toying with reconciling of late, however, and have been sleeping together in recent episodes. Which brings …
