After his brother Kyle Eastwood previously confirmed their dad’s retirement, Scott said that he will believe that his dad, 96, is done with Hollywood when he hears it for himself. “We’ll see. I have not heard that from his mouth at all,” Scott, 40, told ScreenRant in an interview published Tuesday. “So I don’t know what that feels like.” He added, “His career in general has been something to admire, something to be inspired by, and continues to inspire me. The work, the artistry that he’s done on and off screen. Producing, writing, composing, directing, acting. Zahara Pitt Jolie Officially Wants to Drop Her Father’s Last Name

Zahara Pitt Jolie Officially Wants to Drop Her Father’s Last Name

The estrangement between the children of former couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their father continues. Zahara Marley recently filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to remove the surname Pitt from her name and keep only Jolie. This decision is not so surprising given that the 21-year-old has been going by the name Zahara Marley Jolie for some time now. She did so last month when she graduated from Spelman College with a degree in psychology—Pitt did not attend the ceremony—and as early as the start of her college studies in 2023, during the induction ceremony for the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. She was also introduced using only Jolie’s surname at a mother-and-daughter brunch hosted in April by the Pearls of Purpose Foundation, a non-profit affiliated with her sorority. On that occasion, she spoke of her mother as “the most selfless, loving, and understanding woman who I get to call my mom,” adding, “I was adopted at six months old and given some of the most special and loving people as my …

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’ daughter Zahara officially drops father’s last name

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Zahara has filed to remove “Pitt” from her last name. Her name was read out as “Zahara Marley Jolie” during her Spelman College graduation in May. Brad and Angelina tied the knot in 2014 and split two years later. The former couple’s divorce was finalized in December 2024 following a long legal battle over shared assets and claims of abuse. The former couple share six children. The 24-year-old, who was adopted by Angelina in 2002, and later by Brad in 2006, had his name change finalized in May. He now goes by Maddox Chivan Jolie, and listed the reason for his name change as “personal”.  © CBS via Getty ImagesAngelina Jolie and daughter Zahara Shiloh also legally removed “Pitt” from her …

What Did the Early Church Fathers Think of the Ancient Philosophers?

Published: Jun 9, 2026written by Mary Lou Cornish, MMA Christian Apologetics, MTS Theological Studies Summary Many early Church Fathers saw Greek philosophy as a “handmaid to theology,” a preparation for the Gospel of Christ. The Apostle Paul engaged Greek philosophers by using their own cultural references and logical methods to introduce Christianity. Core Christian terms like Logos and Trinity originated in Greek philosophy before being redefined by early Christian writers. Theologian and Christian apologist Tertullian posed this question, asserting that the philosophers of the ancient Greeks had nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sebastian Berhalter turned his father’s tough truth into World Cup breakthrough

The 25-year-old midfielder will tell you that his father was the one to tell him four years ago, before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, that he wasn’t good enough. It “wasn’t even close,” he joked to reporters last week after this year’s roster was announced. So he watched from the stands in Qatar as his father coached the 2022 team he dreamed of playing on. At one point during the tournament, the young midfielder spotted a miniature replica of the World Cup trophy at the concession stands.
