ITV confirms new Freddie Flintoff documentary on Tourette’s syndrome

ITV has announced a brand new two-part series, Freddie Flintoff: Understanding Tourette’s, inspired by the BAFTA-winning film I Swear. In the series, Flintoff will travel around the UK meeting young people living with Tourette syndrome as he sets out to understand what life is like for them and their families, and challenges the misconceptions and stigma around the often misunderstood condition. Across the two episodes, Flintoff will spend time with young people who are at different stages of their journey – from those trying to get a diagnosis to those that who have been living with the condition for many years. Freddie Flintoff said: “Working with young people has always been a huge passion point for me, and Tourette’s is a condition that primarily starts in childhood. ITV’s Bullseye future ‘revealed’ following revival with Freddie Flintoff

Bullseye will reportedly return for a second season and celebrity spin-off, once more hosted by former Top Gear presenter Freddie Flintoff. Filming for the new series is thought to begin in autumn, with a plan to air it on ITV later this year. An insider told The Sun: “The continued popularity of Bullseye means that as well as the new outing featuring members of the public playing the game, bosses are also looking at a celebrity version. “The most recent experiment, a Bullseye for Soccer Aid special, seemed to go down well with viewers so they’re looking at expanding that — possibly with a full series.” Radio Times has reached out to ITV for comment.
