The removals mark the latest phase of President Trump’s effort to rewrite the history of the violent riot. Justice Department news releases that detailed guilty pleas, jury verdicts and prison sentences abruptly disappeared from government websites last week. On social media, the Justice Department defended the move, saying, “We are proud to reverse the DOJ’s weaponization under the Biden administration. We will do everything in our power to make whole those who were persecuted for political purposes. This includes stripping DOJ’s website of partisan propaganda.” A review by NPR found that the deleted material included information about some of the most serious …

TUI shares latest Europe holidays info in Tuesday morning update | Travel News | Travel

TUI sends passengers a dedicated pre‑departure email nine days before departure (Image: Getty ) TUI has issued official guidance in a fresh update for passengers holding flight bookings to Europe. Speaking to the Mirror on Tuesday morning (April 28), TUI outlined the measures the airline is implementing to assist customers during the introduction of the new Entry/Exit System (EES). According to reports from early 2026, the airports experiencing the longest EES queues are predominantly in Spain and Portugal. Lisbon (LIS), Tenerife South (TFS), Palma de Mallorca (PMI), Faro (FAO), and Almeria (LEI) are encountering significant delays that can stretch for hours. A statement on Faro Airport’s website reads: “Due to possible constraints on departures border control, longer waiting times are to be expected. Passengers to international (Non Schengen) flights please arrive early at the Airport.” The new system, which gathers biometric data from passengers, means first-time users must submit fingerprints and photographs, extending processing times. As the European Union’s EES is progressively rolled out across Schengen airports, TUI confirms it has established a comprehensive customer …

Donald Trump offers £7.6m reward for info on Iran’s new Supreme Leader | World | News

Donald Trump is offering a reward of up to £7.6million ($10million) and the right to relocate to America if they come forward with information on the whereabouts of Iran’s new Supreme Leader and nine other senior Islamic Republic leaders. Those with knowledge of the locations of 10 senior regime leaders have been encouraged to share that information via the Signal message app or a Tor browser tip line, the US State Department said. The wanted men are described as “key leaders” of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and national security adviser Ali Larijani. Other names include Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib. Four of them are described only by their job title, such as secretary of the defence council, and are not named or pictured. However, three men who led Iran after Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed have not been included. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth will send the USS Tripoli, an amphibious assault ship, and its Marine expeditionary unit, a senior official confirmed to …

OpenAI fires employee for using confidential info on prediction markets

OpenAI fires employee for using confidential info on prediction markets

OpenAI has fired an employee over the employee’s activity on prediction markets, including Polymarket, the company confirmed to Wired. The employee used confidential OpenAI information in connection with the trades made, the company alleges. OpenAI didn’t release the name of the employee. However, a spokesperson said that such actions violated a company policy that bans workers from using inside information for personal gain, including on prediction markets. Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi allow people to make wagers on the outcomes of real-world events. For instance, on Polymarket, there are wagers being made around the kind of products OpenAI will announce in 2026 and when the company will go public. They can cover any event, and some eye-popping money can be made. As we recently reported, an accountant won a $470,300 jackpot on Kalshi by betting against DOGE believers. Prediction markets insist they are not gambling sites, preferring to label themselves as financial platforms. Kalshi is a regulated exchange and, in fact, it fined and banned a MrBeast editor for similar alleged insider trading earlier …

Two Israelis Arrested, Indicted After Using Classified Iran Info For Polymarket Bets

The Israeli government has announced the arrest and indictment of an IDF military reservist and a civilian with classified clearances who placed bets regarding military operations on the popular Polymarket prediction market. A joint statement by Shin Bet and the Israeli Police, which teamed up to conduct the investigation, said bets were made “based on classified information to which the reservists were exposed as part of their military duties.” via AFP Authorities have not confirmed details of the specific bets, but it follows Kan News first reporting suspicions that officials within the defense ministry had leveraged classified information to profit on Polymarket. At least one of the accused reportedly bet on the timing of Israel’s opening strike on Iran in last June’s 12-day war. The indictments mention “serious security offenses” as well as bribery and obstruction of justice. According to the Times of Israel, one of the men netted about $150,000 based on the insider knowledge: Last month, Kan said a user who went by the name ricosuave666 placed several bets in June 2025 with suspicious …
