Emmerdale airs ominous tease to devastating wedding week in ITVX release

Emmerdale airs ominous tease to devastating wedding week in ITVX release

A lavish wedding is on the horizon in Emmerdale – though it’s guaranteed not to be a happy occasion for Joe Tate (Ned Porteous). He has no idea that wife-to-be Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) is secretly planning to leave the country with his unborn baby, ex-husband Billy (Jay Kontzle) and their children. The scheme has been masterminded by Caleb Miligan (William Ash), who, alongside spouse Ruby (Beth Cordingly), are seeking revenge on Joe for years of falling victim to his misdemeanours. When Billy was attacked at Caleb’s depot, he erased the CCTV and pinned the blame on Joe. The assault came just hours after he learnt that Dawn and Billy had kissed, making him the perfect scapegoat. However, it later transpired that Kev Barton (Chris Coghill) was the real culprit, and he drunkenly spilled this information to Billy earlier in the week. Ultimately, this left him conflicted about leaving, wondering whether Joe actually was a good man – although misunderstood. Emmerdale airs cheating fears for Joe Tate in early ITVX release

Emmerdale airs cheating fears for Joe Tate in early ITVX release

Should Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) be concerned in Emmerdale? His big wedding to Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) is on the horizon, though with most soap nuptials, one half of the ‘happy’ couple is facing a moral dilemma before they tie the knot. This is, of course, Dawn. She’d already expressed concerns about her fiancé’s morality when she learnt that he was partly responsible for the ice lake disaster last year, but ultimately agreed to trust him and go ahead with tying the knot. Her decision was partly influenced by the fact she’s carrying his child, and felt she couldn’t afford to raise another child as a single mother. Meanwhile, Home Farm housemate Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has developed a promising relationship with Dawn’s ex-husband Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle). Although it’s still early days, the two have expressed commitment to one another – and Dawn doesn’t seem happy. Coronation Street nightmare as teenager finds shotgun in ITVX release

Coronation Street nightmare as teenager finds shotgun in ITVX release

Jodie Ramsey’s (Olivia Frances Brown) trinket box has been discovered in Coronation Street. Since the character’s arrival in January, viewers have seen her squirrelling away a random collection of objects. It started with a picture of Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) – to intensify her fears around stalker Mal Roper (Tim Treloar) – and a book belonging to Brian Packham (Peter Gunn). It seemed that her behaviour stemmed from the fact that Shona has had what she perceives as a wonderful life, while she was left to care for their unwell father. As a result, her collection is of bizarre items that she knows other people have taken pride in owning. In June, she took something far more sinister. Olivia Frances Brown as Jodie Ramsey. ITV Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) had acquired a gun from his associate Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer), and slid it towards uncle Kevin (Michael Le Vell) – instructing him to fire it. Kevin had seen Tyrone Dobbs’s (Alan Halsall) video of Carl cutting his brakes, and a huge argument had escalated. Kev and …

Unlikely England fan spotted on ‘UK’s most patriotic estate’ | Weird | News

Nothing unites people like football, and the whole of England stood together in celebration as Harry Kane and the boys sensationally beat Mexico to make it through to the World Cup quarter-finals last night. Pubs stayed open until 5am as two goals from Jude Bellingham in as many minutes, and a third from Harry Kane, saw England come out on top 3-2, despite Mexico playing on home turf. And there are few places where cheers will have been louder than in the little corner of London branded “one of England’s most patriotic estates”. The Kirby Estate in southeast London is widely known for its proud display of dozens of St George’s Cross flags hanging from windows, gates, balconies, and lampposts, as well as colourful murals celebrating some of the country’s top sportsmen and women. And it seems the patriotic feeling has attracted some unusual supporters from a bit further afield. A video posted on TikTok by the account @kirbyestate – which regularly shows off the lively displays and community feeling in the area – showed …

Coronation Street reveals Tyrone Dobbs’s dark secret in early ITVX release

Coronation Street reveals Tyrone Dobbs’s dark secret in early ITVX release

Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is hiding a pretty hefty secret in Coronation Street, and now we finally know why he decided to lie to the police about Summer Spellman’s (Harriet Bibby) whereabouts on the night of Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) death. She’s facing the prospect of spending the rest of her life behind bars, with a mountain of evidence stacked up against her. There’s the incriminating journal she burnt, her brooch being found at the scene of the crime, and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) spotting her running away from the direction of Theo’s flat. Summer had hoped that Tyrone could prove that she was innocent, as he’d also seen her leaving the flat, and had witnessed a very much alive Theo peeking through the blinds. However, when approached by the Weatherfield cop shop, he denied everything, and earlier this week made a guilt-ridden phone call to a mystery accomplice, telling them that they needed to form a plan. In today’s episode, at the prison, Summer furiously urged Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) for help, insisting that …

Coronation Street airs surprise George Shuttleworth twist in ITVX release

Coronation Street airs surprise George Shuttleworth twist in ITVX release

George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) is pretty convinced he knows who killed Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in Coronation Street. The abuser was found dead in the back yard of the corner shop last month, and since then, a large-scale murder investigation has taken place. George was the first in a long line of potential suspects to be questioned, after Theo’s blood was found on his jumper. There was also a large portion of the evening that he spent on a walk alone, and it wasn’t long before his partner Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) was hauled into the interview room to see if she could support his story. Ultimately, the Weatherfield policing team had very little evidence to formally arrest him, and so they turned their attentions to Gary Windass (Mikey North). The builder had destroyed Theo’s van just hours before the death, and also sent him a threatening text message. Fortunately, his wife Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) helped to fabricate a story, saying that they were together on the night. Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) and George …

Coronation Street airs odd encounter for Jodie Ramsey in ITVX release

Coronation Street airs odd encounter for Jodie Ramsey in ITVX release

Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown) has been left spooked by an unusual encounter in Coronation Street. Let’s be real – we’re still not entirely sure what’s going on with the newcomer. We’ve seen her display somewhat kleptomaniac tendencies, taking a number of bizarre items – including a picture of Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) and a book belonging to Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) – and also try to sink her claws into brother-in-law David Platt (Jack P Shepherd). He’s been blissfully unaware of her efforts to get closer to him, though did note to his brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) that there was something not quite right about her. We know that she’s wronged some sort of gang, with Emmerdale’s Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) employed to get rid of her, and has also stolen a hard drive that belongs to a former employer. Two of this employer’s henchmen charged down to No. 8 in today’s episode, seeking to get the device back. Protective sister Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) stepped in and assured the men that she’d …

Coronation Street airs major stumble for Maggie Driscoll in early ITVX release

Coronation Street airs major stumble for Maggie Driscoll in early ITVX release

*Warning: Spoilers for Friday 3 April 2026’s episode of Coronation Street, available now on ITVX and YouTube.* Coronation Street aired a major stumbling block for scheming Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) on Friday. The ITV soap has already revealed to viewers that Rovers Return landlord Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) is actually the secret son of the late cobbles icon Jim McDonald (Charlie Lawson) after he had a brief liaison with Maggie years prior. This also means that Ben is actually the half-brother of his new close friend Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson). However, Ben has always believed that his dad, Alan Driscoll (Aidan O’Callaghan), was his biological father. Fans also know from a special flashback episode that Maggie was also responsible for Alan’s death. During Friday’s episode, Maggie attempted to get through to her grandson Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) following his suffering at the abusive hands of his teacher, Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon). However, a brainwashed Will would not betray Megan – even though Maggie came close to getting her grandson to open up to her. Want …
