Jumanji 3 Title Is Open World: Dwayne Johnson Shows Trailer

Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black are heading to our society this time around in Jumanji 3. The trio of stars hit the CinemaCon stage in Las Vegas to debut the first footage from the forthcoming film, which revealed its title as Jumanji: Open World. “We are pumped about being back for another Jumanji,” Hart noted. Black said, “I’ve never had more fun working on a movie. This is my favorite so far.” Hart joked that he didn’t quite agree and said about shooting the film alongside frequent co-star Johnson: “It was work.” “You don’t fucking know these people,” Hart quipped as Johnson tried to thank some of the exhibition executives in the audience. “It’s such Hollywood bullshit.” Johnson offered a sentimental moment when sharing that half the dice in the new film was the one used in Robin Williams’ 1995 Jumanji: “Robin, as we like to say, this one’s for you.” The trailer shows Johnson, Black, Hart and Karen Gillan in the real world as stilted versions of the video game avatars they …

Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, Melissa McCarthy Join Jack Black SNL Monologue

Jack Black is back on Saturday Night Live — and he has officially joined the Five-Timers club! The Super Mario Galaxy Movie star kicked off his hosting monologue by addressing that it was his fifth time hosting the sketch comedy series, before he was joined by a starry lineup of guests who, too, have hosted the show (at least) five times. “I am so thrilled to be back hosting SNL for the fifth time. It’s a huge honor to join the Five-Timers club,” he said. “I’m a five-timer!” Black was first joined by his Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot co-star Jonah Hill, who was sporting a Five-Timers robe. “It is so good to see you. What have you been up to, man?” Black said, to which Hill joked, “Well, I’ve actually been working on Superbad 2!” The two walked through a door to the Five-Timers lounge, which prompted Hill to tell Black, “Jack, we need your help. There’s something wrong with the Five-Timers Club. You see what I mean?” “Yes, you’re right, …

Tenacious D’s Kyle Gass Opens Up On Backlash To Trump Assassination Joke

Tenacious D’s Kyle Gass is recounting the “huge” ramifications he and his band faced as a result of a controversial, improvised joke about the first assassination attempt against Donald Trump. “I’m human, I made a mistake. I was going for a joke. But timing is everything. If there was ever a ‘too soon,’ it was this,” said Kyle, who founded the comedy rock band with Jack Black, during a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine. In July 2024, Jack and the band’s fans were celebrating Kyle’s 64th birthday at a show in Sydney just after a gunman had targeted then-GOP presidential candidate Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. When Jack asked Kyle to make a wish onstage before blowing out the birthday candles on his cake, the musician joked: “Don’t miss Trump next time.” The moment sparked swift conservative backlash and a since-removed apology post from Kyle before Jack announced that the band was calling off its tour and pausing all future creative endeavours. Jack said he was “blindsided” by his bandmate’s comments and …
