Rod Stewart, 81, forced to cancel shows last minute amid health concerns
Rock legend Sir Rod Stewart, 81, has cancelled his shows in Las Vegas amid concerns for his health. The I Don’t Want to Talk About It singer was scheduled to perform on Friday and Saturday as part of his The Encore Shows Residency, but pulled out before showtime due to a sinus infection. “Following his doctor’s advice, Rod Stewart has regretfully cancelled his performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 29 and 30, but is scheduled to return with shows beginning June 2,” a representative for the singer told the Las Vegas Review. Rod sent his “apologies to my family of fans” in his own statement as per the publication. “I am on vocal rest as I recover from a sinus infection. I look forward to seeing you at a future show at Caesars Palace or on tour this summer,” he added.
