Federal prosecutors say a former Pennsylvania bank manager stole more than $214,000 from a Citizens Bank branch and spent most of the money feeding a gambling habit, a scheme that has now landed him in federal prison. Jonathan Lim, 42, of Wallingford, was sentenced this week to 18 months behind bars followed by five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to bank fraud and bank embezzlement charges. Prosecutors said Lim took approximately $214,155 while serving as branch manager of the Citizens Bank location on West Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown. The Tigers announced Tuesday that Gabe Alvarez had been fired for what they called a “violation of club policy,” but they did not specify the violation. KDE is great. It’s probably my favorite desktop environment, and I’ve been on a bit of a hopping spree lately. It’s mostly stable, and offers a ton of customizability baked into the system menus itself. Still, by nature of its design, KDE does not support tiling at all, at least in its vanilla state. Yes, there are ways to manually tile windows together, but it’s a lot less intuitive than proper auto-tiling layouts. Disappointed as I was, I decided to dig up some recommendations. Of these, I had used Bismuth previously. Unfortunately for me, Bismuth didn’t have any support for Plasma 6, which is the current version of KDE. Things changed when I laid eyes on Krohnkite. This simple extension made tiling in KDE a lot more effortless, while retaining enough customizability. A manager at the hospital where Lucy Letby worked has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with an investigation into the child killer. They were detained as part of the probe into corporate manslaughter and gross negligence manslaughter at the Countess of Chester Hospital, Cheshire Constabulary said. Officers carried out a search warrant at a property on Wednesday and the individual was arrested and later bailed pending further inquiries. Their name has not been made public. “Both the corporate manslaughter and gross negligence manslaughter elements of the investigation are continuing and there are no set timescales for these,” the force said. The force previously arrested three individuals who were part of the senior leadership team at the hospital between 2015 and 2016 on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. A former finance manager for the Fresno Arts Council has pleaded guilty after federal prosecutors accused her of siphoning more than $1.8 million from the nonprofit, and spending part of the money to gamble at local casinos, pay for vacations, and cover other personal expenses. Suliana Caldwell, 46, of Fresno, admitted one count of wire fraud in federal court, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California said.
