Woman who stole £60 chicken from Solihull Co-op asks to go to jail for as long as possible
A woman who stole £60 worth of chicken from a supermarket asked to go to prison for as long as possible. Emma Britton targeted a Co-op in Solihull on December 1 last year. The incident was captured on CCTV. The 51-year-old, who is currently in custody at HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire, admitted theft from a shop. She added: “To her credit she accepts prison is the place she needs to be at this moment in time.
