Prince William says family ‘couldn’t cope without’ Kate Middleton during cancer treatment

Prince William has said his family ‘couldn’t cope without’ Kate as he reflected on her cancer treatment. The Prince of Wales, 43, joined Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart FM from the Isles of Scilly for a special live broadcast on a foggy day, broadcast from a cafe.   In a wide-ranging interview, the prince joked about doing the school run, his love of dance music and how he still follows his late grandmother the Queen’s rule for making scones – cream first then jam. Beforehand, he posed for a selfie alongside the presenters, posted on Heart’s social media channels.    During the segment, he made rare comments about his wife, Kate’s, return to duties after her cancer diagnosis, saying he was “so proud”,  and adding: “She’s an amazing mum, an amazing wife and literally our family couldn’t cope without her, so she’s been brilliant.” © Heart FMPrince William gets candid on Heart FM The Princess revealed her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and announced she was in remission in January last year, beginning a slow …

Kate Middleton is a step ahead from other royals: ‘Greatest Queen on earth’

The Princess of Wales is quietly distinguishing herself from other members of the royal family. The future Queen embarked on a significant two-day trip to Italy last week, which marked her first engagement abroad following her cancer diagnosis and treatment in 2024. While visiting the city of Reggio Emilia, the royal endeared herself to locals along the way and proved she’s following in the late Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps. After speaking to the Princess of Wales at a lunch on the final day, 86-year-old Carla Nironi, who worked for the founder of the Reggio Emilia Approach, remarked that the royal is a “wonderful person”. “If I think about the other members of the royal family, I think Catherine is a step ahead of them,” she added.  © WireImagePrincess Kate hosted an intimate lunch to thank everyone for their hospitality She then proclaimed: “If she were to become queen, she would be the greatest queen on earth. She reminds me of Elizabeth II.” Kate concluded her Italy trip with a visit to the rural Agriturismo Al Vigneto, …

Kate Middleton speaks about late dog Lupo in rare vulnerable moment

Kate Middleton shared a rare emotional moment during her recent trip to Italy after unexpectedly being reminded of the family’s beloved late dog, Lupo. The Princess of Wales, 44, spoke about the dog while visiting Scuola Comunale d’infanzia Anna Frank in Reggio Emilia on May 13, where she observed the Reggio Emilia Approach in action at the municipal preschool. © Getty ImagesThe Princess of Wales visits Scuola Comunale d’infanzia Anna Frank in Reggio Emilia, Italy During an activity with the children, Kate was shown papers featuring different animal names written in Italian. When she spotted the word “Lupo” – meaning “wolf” in Italian – the memory immediately struck a chord. “Our dog was called Lupo. We had a dog that was called Lupo,” Kate said warmly, placing a hand against her chest as she smiled. When someone nearby asked whether she knew the meaning behind the name, the princess confirmed she did – before revealing the family’s beloved cocker spaniel wasn’t exactly wolf-sized. © Getty ImagesPrincess Kate’s new chapter A RIGHT ROYAL PODCAST LIVE IN …

Kate Middleton Took Princess Diana’s Engagement Ring on a Pasta Tour of Italy

Kate Middleton Took Princess Diana’s Engagement Ring on a Pasta Tour of Italy

Earlier this week, Vanity Fair reported that Kate Middleton’s trip to Italy had an unofficial Eat, Pray, Love theme—appropriate, considering that this is her first solo trip since her cancer diagnosis and treatment in 2024. The “eat” aspect was central to her agenda on Thursday, when she arrived at an agritourism site in rural Felino to take a cooking class. Clearly, the “love” aspect is merely metaphorical—she is still married, of course. This was underlined by a photo of Kate kneading dough wearing her engagement ring, the one with a huge sapphire in the middle. This is her 12-carat Ceylon sapphire, surrounded by 14 round diamonds on a platinum band—a bauble formerly owned by her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana. If Kate’s rock—or collection of rocks—isn’t the biggest engagement ring in history, it may be the one with the most symbolism. Back when he was still the Prince of Wales, King Charles purchased it for Diana at the royal jeweler Garrard in the run-up …

Kate Middleton Visits Kindergarteners on Final Day of Italy Trip: “Wish All Schools in the World Were Like This”

Kate Middleton Visits Kindergarteners on Final Day of Italy Trip: “Wish All Schools in the World Were Like This”

The last appointment in town, after a brief rain that did not change the schedule (everything organized, armored and controlled) was at the King Midas Center for Creative Recycling, where waste materials from two hundred local businesses become educational tools. Kate spent forty minutes with the president of the Reggio Children Foundation, former minister Francesco Profumo, and other educators. Finally, a tribute to the cuisine of the territory. In the Parma hills, at the Al Vigneto di Barbiano di Felino agriturismo, Kate wanted to “reflect on the visit and celebrate the connections between generations by spending time with local families.” Basically: she put on her apron and rolled out the pastry. Then the procession left for Parma airport, the private flight to London. When Middleton opens her suitcase at Kensington Palace—along with files on the Reggio Approach, perhaps there lies a recipe for erbazzone and maybe some clay to take to the children. Kate Middleton exudes quiet luxury in belted midi dress – and £195 Chanel-style shoes

The Princess of Wales was a picture of quiet elegance on Thursday as she stepped out at The Salvador Allende pre-school during her two-day royal trip to Italy. Perfectly dressed for the Italian spring, Kate, 44, was seen wearing an off-white pleated midi dress with a crew neckline and a more fitted bodice to create a classic A-line silhouette. To add structure and for added warmth (the current temperature in Reggio Emilia is 16 degrees Celsius), the wife of Prince William added a stone-hued pinstripe blazer by Blazé Milano. © Alamy Stock PhotoThe Princess of Wales added a belt to her pleated midi dress The true star of the show was her shoes. Though she chose a short block heel for practicality’s sake, she exuded chic with her choice in Chanel-style capped-toe shoes with a buckle-adorned slingback strap. They were the £195 ‘Alicia’ flats by Camilla Elphick, which she wore previously to the Out-Sourcing Inc. Did Kate Middleton suffer the same faux pas Queen Camilla did 2 weeks ago?

The Princess of Wales was greeted with cheers and smiles from the crowd as she stepped out for her first engagement in Italy during her milestone solo trip. The 44-year-old royal looked confident in a blue power suit as she waved at royal fans upon her arrival at the Piazza Camillo Prampolini. The mother-of-three impressed children in the crowd by speaking Italian to them “perfectly” but during that moment, the Princess made a potentially controversial decision. © WireImagePrincess Kate placed her bag on the floor We saw Kate bend down in her sky-high heels, to ensure she was at eye level for the young children – a move we’ve seen her pull on many occasions. However, it was what she decided to do with her bag that could raise some eyebrows. Kate carefully lowered her brand-new Asprey in powder blue hue to the floor, on the ground outside of the Reggio Emilia Town Hall. This action was likely to be so she could use both hands to gesture to the kids but for many etiquette experts …

Kate Middleton Wears a Blue Power Suit For First Solo Overseas Trip Since Cancer Diagnosis

Kate Middleton Wears a Blue Power Suit For First Solo Overseas Trip Since Cancer Diagnosis

While on her trip, some have mused that Middleton may wear a few Italian brands—Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci or even some Luisa Spagnoli pieces could make an appearance, not to mention Max Mara, which has its very headquarters in Reggio Emilia. But even if the Princess wears only designers from her own country, shades of blue could also signify Italian fidelity. The color is linked to Italian sports teams, including some followed by soccer fan Prince William. In the blue power suit chosen for day one of Reggio Emilia, Middleton wore a fitted single-breasted jacket and wide-legged pants that offered movement as she toured Italy. As for jewelry, in addition to the ever-present sapphire ring that belonged to Diana, Middleton embellished her suit with earrings and pearl pendants. The Princess’s simple, but refined look was completed with an Asprey London bag and a pair of pumps by American designer Ralph Lauren. Middleton may be dripping …

Kate Middleton Is Taking the Royal Version of An Eat, Pray, Love Trip to Italy

When Kate Middleton arrives in Italy on Wednesday, it will mark the first time in four years that the Princess of Wales has carried out a solo trip. Sources close to Princess Kate tell Vanity Fair that she feels “energized and excited” about going overseas to a country she has always loved. While on her gap year, before going to the University of St Andrews, she spent time in Italy learning to speak Italian. Kensington Palace has said the two-day trip will “focus on early child childhood development and forms part of a high-level fact-finding mission to explore leading international approaches to supporting young children and those who care for them.” It will also, sources say, be used as a “road test”’ for a possible second tour later with Prince William later this year. “Catherine is feeling better than she has in two years. She is super excited to not only go on this visit, but to test herself back in the arena of full-time royal duties,” Russell Myers, the author of William & Catherine: …
