Savannah Guthrie has released a deeply emotional new video message addressed to the people believed to be holding her mother, Nancy Guthrie, seven days after the 84-year-old was reported missing. Speaking directly to camera on Saturday night, a visibly heartbroken Savannah made a plea for her mother’s safe return. “We received your message, and we understand,” Savannah said. “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. “This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.” Her message comes as the Pima County Sheriff’s Office confirmed it is aware of a new communication related to the case. “Investigators are actively inspecting the information provided in the message for its authenticity,” the department said in a statement shared on social media. Savannah Guthrie’s Today co-stars shared their support for the journalist following the disappearance of her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, over the weekend. The matriarch was first reported missing on February 1 and was last seen the day before, around 9:45 p.m., by her children.  Authorities believe that Nancy was taken against her will from her home in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson, Arizona, sometime between 10 p.m. on Saturday night and 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.  “Sheriff Nanos has stated that he believes that a crime has been committed. Jan 11 : ‌BBC television pundit Shay Given has apologised after describing former Celtic coach Wilfried Nancy’s short-lived reign as “an absolute holocaust” on live television, with the former goalkeeper saying he used a word he did not fully understand.
