Ken Lynch has had the 75ft-long grey wall constructed along the side of his detached home on Sandbanks Road in the sought-after Lilliput area of Poole, Dorset. The area, alongside its neighbour Sandbanks, are among the most expensive and exclusive seaside areas in the whole country, with average house prices starting at £700,000. The imposing structure stands over 7ft tall and has been branded an eyesore by locals, with some likening it to something straight out of the Soviet Union era. Before its transformation, the home was a charming bungalow with an attractive front garden and modest brick wall that allowed passers-by to enjoy its vibrant herbaceous borders. Emily Potts had just returned from grabbing a coffee when she checked the post and found the bizarre message waiting for her. The 35-year-old later shared footage from her Ring doorbell showing the moment she opened the postcard and read it aloud to her partner in disbelief. The card, decorated with images of canals and historic buildings from Nantwich, Cheshire, contained a blunt complaint about her vehicle and the way it had been left on the street. A woman sentenced after destroying her neighbour’s wisteria and repeatedly striking her with a crutch breached a fresh restraining order before even leaving the courtroom. A judge issued the warning to Atidel Boutara Cook following her sentencing for the violent neighbourhood dispute. Boutara Cook was convicted of criminal damage and assault following an incident on December 17 last year. The court heard how she destroyed a flowering plant belonging to her upstairs neighbour, Pei Wong, before carrying out the physical attack. Despite the legal proceedings, the defendant violated the terms of her new court-ordered protection before the hearing had fully concluded. The breach occurred immediately after she was sentenced for the December confrontation involving her neighbour’s property and person. A death row killer who set his neighbour ablaze more than three decades ago delivered a protest against his death in his final words before execution. Chadwick Scott Willacy was administered a three-drug lethal injection today for the murder of Marlys Sather, who was set alight after returning home to discover the convicted criminal inside her property. Willacy, who had broken in during a chilling burglary, struck her over the head with a blunt object, fracturing her skull, before binding her hands and ankles with wire and tape. Convicted of first-degree murder, burglary, robbery and arson, Willacy spent 36 years on death row in Starke, Florida, before finally being executed today. The 58-year-old offered apologies to his own family and friends and urged his “brothers on the row” to remain strong, yet continued to protest his innocence, insisting he would never have killed his friend. The government of Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa has surged its tariffs on the neighbouring country of Colombia to 100 percent, effective May 1. On Thursday, Ecuador’s Ministry of Production issued a statement blasting Colombia for failing to adequately address drug-trafficking and border security.
