Several injured as police called to ‘major incident’ at Ghana Party in the Park festival
Police have been called to a festival in London on Saturday evening as several people have been left injured. The cultural festival was ‘temporarily paused’ late on August 1 as Metropolitan Police were called to the scene to deal with an ‘overcrowding issue’. The Ghana Party in the Park has been taking place in Barnet – the force say that none of the injuries are life-threatening in nature. They have asked the public not to speculate about the incident and said rumours of a stabbing are untrue, The Mirror reports.
