The Rings of Power season 3 trailer arrives as Simon Pegg joins cast
The Rings of Power season 3 trailer has been unveiled, revealing a number of new cast members joining the fantasy series. Following the previously announced casting of Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn, the Elf Lord and missing husband of Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), Simon Pegg joins as the voice of the Balrog, a hulking magma monster that helps Sauron forge the One Ring. The teaser trailer has hinted at the impending doom awaiting the heroes and warriors of Middle-earth, with Sauron’s voice heard saying: “Now, is the mighty hour as come”, before cutting to Galadriel as she dances with Celeborn. In another part of the trailer, an orc tells Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova) that the Dark Lord “is on the brink of crafting … one ring to rule them all”, something the warriors of Middle-earth have long feared. The trailer also offers a closer look at the previously announced Eddie Marsan as Thrain of Dwarven royalty, Andrew Richardson as Anarion, a king of Gondor, Zubin Varla as a Ringwraith, and Adam Young as an original character …
