The 2026 Tony Awards will be one to remember for Aubrey Plaza and Christopher Abbott. Walking the red carpet prior to the ceremony, Plaza and Abbott posed for photos at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The couple was all smiles, wearing matching black-and-white looks, with Plaza showing off her baby bump. Sunday’s appearance marked their first red carpet arrival since People exclusively reported in April that the pair were expecting their first child. Plaza supported Abbott as he was nominated for best actor in a featured role in a play for Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. Unfortunately, Abbott lost the award to Alden Ehrenreich (Becky Shaw). The Tony nomination was Abbott’s first, and his other fellow nominees included Danny Burstein (Marjorie Prime), Brandon J. Dirden (Waiting for Godot), Ruben Santiago-Hudson (August Wilson’s Joe Turner’s Come and Gone) and Richard Thomas (The Balusters). His co-star, Laurie Metcalf, won for best actress. Aubrey Plaza has spoken out for the first time about her surprise pregnancy in an appearance on the Smartless podcast with actors Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes.  The Parks and Recreation actress confirmed on the April 13 episode that she was expecting her first child with her partner, Christopher Abbott, six days after the news broke on social media. “Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” Aubrey told the hosts. “No, I said there is a baby inside of me right now.” “Today was a big day. A restoration of the Roman Colosseum’s southern piazza has been completed after four years of construction, according to Artnet News. The project, led by Stefano Boeri Interiors, has recreated the travertine-paved pedestrian plaza outside the amphitheater’s southern façade, where spectators once waited to enter the arena. Built between 70 and 80 CE, the Roman Colosseum remains one of the engineering marvels of the world. At four stories high and with 80 arched entrances, the amphitheater could seat 50,000 or more people, equal to a modern stadium. Even more impressive, it was completely freestanding, supported by a complex vault system. Its most famous use was for gladiator games, in which enslaved people or prisoners of war fought each other or wild animals to the death. The unfinished Oceanwide Plaza complex in downtown Los Angeles is looking at a new buyer who plans to complete the $1.2 billion project. KPC Development Co., whose founder, Kali Pradip Chaudhuri, is building a $300 million hotel next to SoFi Stadium, on Monday entered into a $470 million deal with Lendlease, the original contractor for the project, according to court documents. The figure represents a bid, which sets a price floor for the plaza, that will be tested at auction. If no higher offers come in, the bankruptcy court can approve the sale. The stalled project has emerged as a major priority for Los Angeles ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games, which have provided a much-needed sense of urgency and a hard timeline to set up a transaction. The structure — dubbed the Graffiti Towers after taggers covered the trio of skyscrapers from top to bottom once construction was halted in 2019 — has become an eyesore on the city skyline that could embarrass the city’s global brand. “Our priority remains ensuring the site is …
