And baby makes three! Prince Philippos and Princess Nina of Greece have become first-time parents. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Kimon Thomas Constantinou, via a surrogate. While the baby was born earlier this summer in the United States, his arrival was only announced on September 1.  “Philip De Gres and his wife, Nina, announce with great joy the birth of their first child, Kimon Thomas Constantinou, on July 27, 2026 in the United States of America,” a statement shared by the office of the former Royal Family of Greece reads, translated to English. “Kimon was born via surrogacy. Prince Louis’ godfather, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, is facing a wave of backlash from local residents and farmers surrounding his Buckinghamshire estate, after the 44-year-old shared his plans to allow the construction of England’s largest biogas-to-grid facility on his land. Harry, who has been close friends with Prince William since childhood, is set to lease 15 acres of land to Acorn Bioenergy. The company will use state-of-the-art technology to convert organic matter into biogas, which will then be fed into the national gas grid, providing thousands of homes with renewable gas. Prince Harry and Prince William are not on speaking terms but the brothers could reportedly reunite at a major event. With Prince Harry back in the UK, it may only be a matter of time before the brothers find themselves in the same place at the same time. It’s a big family milestone for the Swedish royal family as Prince Gabriel, the second son of Prince Carl-Philip and Princess Sofia turns nine. Born Gabriel Carl Walther on the 31 of August 2017, the young prince is sixth in line to the Swedish throne after his aunt, cousins and father.  To mark the special occasion, his doting parents have shared a new portrait of Gabriel in a grey cable knit Tommy Hilfiger jumper in front of what appears to be a dining table. Challenge against the Home Office over UK security arrangements In 2024, a High Court judge dismissed Harry’s claim against the Home Office over security arrangements for himself and his family when they are in the UK. The Duke challenged a February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec), which falls under the remit of the department, after being told he would no longer be given the “same degree” of personal protective security when visiting. Harry’s lawyers said he was “singled out” and treated “less favourably” in the decision, arguing a failure to carry out a risk analysis and fully consider the impact of a “successful attack” on him meant the approach to his protection was “unlawful and unfair”. The Government argued Ravec was entitled to conclude the Duke’s protection should be “bespoke” and considered on a “case-by-case” basis. While some of us may get embarrassed by our family at our graduation, this wasn’t the case for Belgium’s Prince Gabriel. The Belgian royal, who is second in line to the throne, received his degree in Social and Military Sciences from the Royal Military Academy. He was joined by his parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, with both Philippe and Gabriel wearing their military uniforms. Gabriel’s older sister, Princess Elisabeth, was also at the ceremony, and while she didn’t initially join Gabriel’s photos, when they locked eyes, Gabriel invited his sister to join the family.
