Trump reportedly calls Netanyahu ‘f—– crazy’ in furious call | US | News

U.S. President Donald Trump (Image: Getty Images) U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly running out of patience with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over ongoing military operations in Lebanon. In what sources have characterised as one of the most tense exchanges between the two leaders since Trump returned to office, Trump is said to have confronted Netanyahu during a telephone conversation on Monday over concerns about Israel’s continued military activity in Lebanon, which he fears could derail Iran ceasefire negotiations after Tehran threatened to withdraw from discussions over Israel’s conduct. Following the call, Trump posted on Truth Social that Iran truce talks, which have reportedly included discussions about ending hostilities in Lebanon, were “continuing, at a rapid pace” after suggesting that Israel had halted operations in Beirut. Trump and Netanyahu have maintained regular contact since launching joint military operations in Iran, which also triggered escalated conflict between Israel and Lebanon’s Iran-backed paramilitary political organisation Hezbollah. Netanyahu announced on Monday that the Israeli military would press ahead with operations in Southern Lebanon following strikes in the …

Apple Will Reportedly Add Bill-Splitting Feature to iOS 27

Apple Will Reportedly Add Bill-Splitting Feature to iOS 27

iPhone users may soon find it easier to divide the restaurant bill when dining out with a group of friends. Apple is readying a new feature in iOS 27 that will allow users to photograph a receipt, assign items on the receipt to different people and generate payment requests, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The new feature will be tied to Apple’s peer-to-peer Apple Cash feature in the Wallet app, which lets users send, receive and request money directly through their iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch without a third-party app. The feature is expected to be announced as early as next week at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Gurman wrote Monday. Since its introduction as Apple Passbook in 2021, Apple Wallet has slowly become one of the most important apps on the iPhone. Users can store debit and credit cards, gift cards, digital car keys, airline boarding passes, insurance cards, concert and museum tickets, and membership cards in the app. In some states, you can even add your driver’s license, state-issued identification card, or passport to the …

Meta AI reportedly let hackers access big Instagram accounts

Meta AI reportedly let hackers access big Instagram accounts

Meta — the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp — continues to integrate AI across its platform. Unfortunately, it appears the company overlooked a major flaw: Meta’s AI support chatbot could apparently be tricked into providing unauthorized users with login access to any Instagram account. Over the past few days, a number of highly followed Instagram accounts were hacked. The Obama White House Instagram account, with 2.4 million followers, was compromised and posted a caption on Sunday that stated: “The White House is under Shiites’ control.” Other accounts, such as the official Instagram account belonging to the Chief Master Sergeant of Space Force, were also hacked. This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. Soon after, sleuths on social media began sharing the news of these hacked accounts along with screen captures showcasing the alleged method used to take them over.  The hackers say they weaponized an exploit that tricked Meta’s AI support chatbot into simply handing …

Apple’s Smart Glasses Reportedly Delayed Until Late 2027

If you’ve had your sights set on sliding on a pair of Apple’s smart glasses, you’re going to have to wait a little longer than previously thought. Apple is now aiming to release the much-rumored AI glasses in “late 2027,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The glasses were previously expected to be announced later this year and begin shipping in early 2027, but Gurman reported in his Power On newsletter Sunday that Apple has experienced “bumps” in development. Apple’s smart glasses are regarded as a key component of the company’s product roadmap, Gurman writes. People close to Tim Cook tell Gurman that the outgoing  Apple CEO is a strong supporter of the project and regards the glasses as his top priority. John Ternus, who will take the reins from Cook in September, is said to be the driving force behind the project, having led the product development team for the past two years. Gurman said the glasses will feature design elements such as “oval-shaped cameras, unique colors, and multiple frame styles” in an effort to stand …

iOS 28 Will Reportedly Be ‘Far More Significant’ Than iOS 27

While we are still a week away from Apple unveiling iOS 27, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman has just shared the first rumor regarding iOS 28. In his Power On newsletter today, he said that iOS 28 will be “far more significant” than iOS 27, but he did not provide any specific details. “Next year’s ’28’ releases are already shaping up to be far more significant than the ’27’ updates,” wrote Gurman, without elaborating. iOS 28 is codenamed “Bell,” while macOS 28 is “Poppy,” he said. iOS 28 would be the first version available on Apple’s rumored 20th-anniversary iPhone, which is expected to be released in September next year. iOS 27 will seemingly be focused on Siri and Apple Intelligence. The update will include the long-awaited personalized version of Siri, complete with on-screen awareness and better understanding of your personal context. For example, at WWDC 2024, Apple showed a user asking Siri about their mother’s flight and lunch reservation based on info retrieved from the Mail and Messages apps. A dedicated Siri app will allow you to …

Meta Ray-Bans He previously said that Apple planned to begin shipping the glasses by early 2027, but he said the product has faced development delays. The glasses will feature “oval-shaped cameras, unique colors, and multiple frame styles,” according to Gurman. “Over time, Apple believes the glasses could evolve into a health device and eventually incorporate augmented reality technologies capable of improving how people see,” he said, but this technology is likely years away. According to Gurman’s sources, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook views the glasses as his “top priority” before he hands the reigns to John Ternus on September 1. The glasses will compete with products in the $200 to $500 range in the U.S., he said. Like the Meta Ray-Bans, Apple’s glasses will have built-in cameras that let users capture photos and videos. Meta is reportedly developing an AI pendant

Meta is reportedly developing an AI pendant

Meta is developing an AI-powered pendant that it plans to start testing in the next year, according to a memo viewed by The Information. This device would presumably build on the work of Limitless, an AI device startup that Meta acquired at the end of 2025. The startup made an AI pendant that users could attach to their shirt or wear as a necklace to record their conversations.  At the time, Meta said the acquisition would allow it to “accelerate our work to build AI-enabled wearables.” Earlier AI wearables have failed to catch on with consumers — perhaps due to privacy concerns and tone-deaf marketing, or perhaps because they just weren’t that useful. But companies like OpenAI aren’t giving up. The memo also reportedly states that the company is planning to expand its lineup of AI glasses and launch a business subscription called Wearables for Work. With all these planned devices, Meta is apparently hoping to reverse the fortunes of its hardware-focused Reality Labs division, which lost $4 billion in the first quarter of this …

Kent Nishimura | AFP | Getty Images Iran’s armed forces fired missiles at unidentified targets late Thursday local time, the state media outlet Fars reported. The latest military action in southern Iran came hours after the Pentagon said that Iran had launched a ballistic missile toward Kuwait and deployed attack drones in and around the strait. Earlier Thursday, a White House official confirmed an Axios report that the U.S. and Iran have “mostly agreed” to the terms of an agreement to temporarily end the three-month-old war. But President Donald Trump has yet to give final approval to the 60-day memorandum of understanding, which would extend an ongoing ceasefire and start nuclear negotiations, that official said. Axios reported that American officials said Iran has signed off on that deal, but noted that Tehran has not confirmed that. Major stock indexes rose Thursday, following the reported …

Zac Brown and Kendra Scott reportedly marry in Santorini

Brown’s son and four daughters and Scott’s three sons, all from previous marriages, were on hand for the festivities, the site said. People confirmed the information. A representative for the couple did not respond immediately Wednesday to The Times’ request for confirmation and comment. After dating for several months, according to People, the 47-year-old lead singer and co-founder of the Zac Brown Band went public as a couple with Scott, a jewelry designer and lifestyle entrepreneur, at the 2025 American Music Awards in Las Vegas, walking the red carpet together almost exactly a year ago.
