Jonah Hill on Drama of Filming David O. Russell’s ‘I Heart Huckabees’

Jonah Hill turned up as the surprise guest at SiriusXM’s Smartless LIVE on Saturday night at Hollywood’s Palladium for an appearance that marked his first lengthy (and very public) solo interview in years. And he was super stoked to be there. “I’ve been gone for a while, so I’m kind of coming back, and I’m excited because I got all, like, serious for a while and I wasn’t as happy,” Hill explained to the Smartless trio of a quiet few years before returning to the spotlight with his recent Apple TV film Outcome. “And then I had my family and I got happy, and now all I want to do is be funny again. That’s why I said yes [to being on Smartless]. I’m, like, I want to go fucking be funny in front of a crowd and that’d be awesome.” Hill appeared to have an awesome time with Smartless hosts Jason Bateman (a close friend he called a mentor), Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. The hour-plus conversation covered nearly his entire career, from his …

Wyatt Russell’s unreal Colorado home could pass as a boutique hotel — and it’s right by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s famous ranch

Wyatt Russell and his actress wife Meredith Hagner relocated their young family from LA to Colorado in 2025 – and they haven’t looked back!  The celebrity couple has an idyllic mountain-view home near the ranch owned by Wyatt’s parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.  This week, Meredith shared a glimpse inside the stunning property on social media – and it could easily pass as a boutique hotel.  Taking to Instagram, the mother-of-two shared a picture of their spacious living room – which features floor-to-ceiling windows for optimum lighting – in its full glory as the sun shone outside.  © InstagramWyatt Russell’s stunning Colorado home could pass as a boutique hotel The space has double-height ceilings and wood-framed windows, boasting a panoramic view of the family’s sprawling backyard.  The couple also has great interior taste; the living room features white shearling armchairs contrasting with dark green checked armchairs with faux-fur throws.  There is also a white sofa with colorful cushions – allowing for plenty of room to host their large extended family. At the center is …

Kimi Antonelli makes history with Chinese GP pole after George Russell’s issues

Kimi Antonelli makes history with Chinese GP pole after George Russell’s issues

But nor should Antonelli’s achievement be diminished. The Italian’s new record – he is 19 years and 212 days old – smashed the previous record held by Sebastian Vettel, who was 21 years and 72 days old when he took his maiden pole position at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix. And he deserves immense credit for it. That crash last weekend, which Wolff joked made his drive look like “a Lego F1 car”, smashed into a million pieces, would have destroyed some drivers. As would the crash at Monza a few laps into his first free practice session a couple of years ago. But Antonelli clearly has something special. Yes, his debut season was raw. Very raw at times. Antonelli went on a run of four non-finishes in six rounds at one point last year, plus an 18th in Monaco, going into a bit of a tailspin. The scenes in the latest series of Drive to Survive, in which he admits to feelings of self-doubt and shows incredible vulnerability and humility, are some of the …

Russell’s title bid off to perfect start in chaotic new era of overtaking

Russell’s title bid off to perfect start in chaotic new era of overtaking

Welcome to our live coverage for the season-opening 2026 Australian Grand Prix from Albert Park in Melbourne. Despite three different drivers from three different teams topping the first three practice sessions, George Russell delivered a dominant pole position reminiscent of how Mercedes started the new season the last time the engine regulations changed.  How large was Russell’s dominance? Well, over his own team-mate Kimi Antonelli just under 0.3sec. That is not too much considering the Italian crashed heavily in final practice and went out in qualifying without any set-up work done on his car. That has to be considered a success.  The problem for F1 fans wanting a competitive season is the significant gap to the first non-Mercedes runner (Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar) which was nearly 0.8sec. Behind the Frenchman were Charles Leclerc of Ferrari (0.8sec slower) Oscar Piastri (nearly 0.9sec adrift) and current world champion Lando Norris (nearly 1sec away) for McLaren, the defending constructors’ champions. Lewis Hamilton, was 0.003sec slower than Norris and in seventh. Rounding out the top 10 were Liam Lawson …

Bertrand Russell’s Advice For How (Not) to Grow Old: “Make Your Interests Gradually Wider and More Impersonal”

Bertrand Russell’s Advice For How (Not) to Grow Old: “Make Your Interests Gradually Wider and More Impersonal”

Image by National Portrait Gallery, via Wikimedia Commons Advice on how to grow old frequently comes from such banal or bloodless sources that we can be forgiven for ignoring it. Public health officials who dispense wisdom may have good intentions; pharmaceutical companies who do the same may not. In either case, the messages arrive in a form that can bring on the despair they seek to avert. Elderly people in well-lit photographs stroll down garden paths, ballroom dance, do yoga. Bulleted lists punctuated by dry citations issue gently-worded guidelines for sensible living. Inoffensive blandness as a prescription for living well. At the other extreme are profiles of exceptional cases—relatively spry individuals who have passed the century mark. Rarely do their stories conform to the model of abstemiousness enjoined upon us by professionals. But we know that growing old with dignity entails so much more than diet and exercise or making it to a hundred-and-two. It entails facing death as squarely as we face life. We need writers with depth, sensitivity, and eloquence to deliver this …

Finn Russell’s moment of genius sparks Scotland comeback win against Wales

Finn Russell’s moment of genius sparks Scotland comeback win against Wales

Scotland exhibited so much in their revival and, as well as Russell and Turner, prevailed thanks to tries from wings Kyle Steyn and Graham. “We dug deep and did what we needed to do to win,” said Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu. “Full credit to Wales. They came out with fight and we had to find a way to win ugly. “I said to the boys at half-time we would need to find a little bit in ourselves to come away with the victory. Several of the boys really held their hands up. It was not as sharp a performance as last week [against England], but that was down to Wales’s performance.” This was an enthralling game from which both teams would have taken huge positives. For Scotland, their second-half fightback means that they are within one Six Nations match of winning their first Triple Crown in more than three decades. And for Wales, despite the agony of not being able to hang on to a commanding 15-point lead with 30 minutes to go, this was …
