Coronation Street star James Cartwright has teased what’s to come in the major whodunnit plotline after the murder of Theo Silverton. Abusive Theo, who was central to Corrie’s hard-hitting domestic abuse storyline with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), was found dead in an alley at the beginning of May. Now the search for the culprit is underway, with multiple suspects having plenty of reason to kill off the cruel and manipulative character. The cat’s finally out of the bag on Coronation Street as viewers found out last night (Friday 1 May) that Theo (played by James Cartwright) was the murder victim that was teased months ago. It won’t have come as too much of a surprise to viewers as he’s been abusive to Todd (Gareth Pierce) for a long time on the soap, with many of Todd’s friends ready to get revenge for the emotional and mental damage he had caused. The “electric” vehicle keeps on chugging down the highway, hour after hour; pit stops are once again decided by the need for bathroom breaks rather than battery range. Autonomous taxis are now driving themselves around London streets, the American company behind the technology has announced. The self-driving cars have been in the capital since last autumn, but until now, they were under the manual control of “safety drivers”.
