In a set of photos that’s sweeping the internet, Pope Leo was well and truly seen in a pair of Nike sneakers, paired with his traditional, priestly robes. The pontiff’s casual footwear choices, therefore, do not appear to be a secret preference: Though the rules imposed by the church in terms of priestly clothing respect tradition and formality, a film planned for distribution on Vatican media channels was certainly scrutinized for any impropriety. MIAMI, April 30 : Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll says Formula One cars are now a lot less fun to drive than a far slower Formula Three. The Canadian, whose team are struggling with an uncompetitive Honda power unit and have yet to score a point in three races of a new engine era, delivered a blunt verdict on Thursday on what he called “fake” racing ahead of the fourth round of the season in Miami this weekend. Formula One is returning from an enforced five-week break after April races in the Middle East were called off due to the Iran war. Maintenance workers at Katmai National Park in Alaska spotted 2025 Fat Bear Week champion Chunk. In a video shared by Katmai Conservancy, National Park Service (NPS) maintenance crews spotted the roughly large adult male brown bear (Ursus arctos) walking along on a patch of ice in the park.  Bears are not seen as frequently during the spring, so this early glimpse of Chunk is exciting. Katmai is a home and hunting ground for some of the largest brown bears in the world. They bulk up every summer on the salmon running up the Brooks River. Fatter bears are more likely to survive hibernation and the long winter ahead. To celebrate and raise funds and awareness, Katmai hosts Fat Bear Week, an annual tournament every fall where nature enthusiasts can vote online for Katmai’s fattest bear.
