But Wink has a different approach, focusing on those who want to retain the benefits of a traditional car without all the extra cost or hassle. The company just announced the launch of its Wink Mark3 electric microcar, a fully enclosed, street-legal vehicle designed specifically to meet and exceed US federal low-speed vehicle (LSV) regulations. What Gazans are saying about the US’s ‘New Gaza’ plan

What Gazans are saying about the US’s ‘New Gaza’ plan

A street market in Khan Yunis, Gaza, January 23, 2026. ABDEL KAREEM HANA/AP On the phone, Amjad Shawa, director of the Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network in Gaza, was highly critical. The plan for Gaza unveiled on Thursday, January 22, at Davos by the US administration was unacceptable, he said. US officials presented their vision of a “New Gaza” before the “Board of Peace,” an initiative led by Donald Trump with the thinly veiled goal of replacing the United Nations, which the US president openly disdains. The plan aspires to transform the Palestinian territory into a luxurious seaside resort lined with skyscrapers. “It could be a hope. It could be a destination, have a lot of industry and really be a place that the people there can thrive, have great employment,” said Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law. “We were surprised to see an image published by Jared Kushner showing what Gaza should look like, without anyone consulting us about what we want,” said Shawa over the phone. Israel continues to bar foreign journalists from entering the Gaza …

Judge Jamar Walker of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has cleared Dominion to restart construction on its $11.2 billion project while the company’s lawsuit against the Trump administration’s Interior Department moves forward. This marks the third offshore wind project to get a court-ordered green light to resume construction this week – joining Revolution Wind and Empire Wind – while Vineyard Wind in Massachusetts has now gone to court seeking a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction.
