A much-loved Midland National Trust site was closed today, Friday, July 31, with a police investigation under way. Baddesley Clinton Hall, a 15th century moated manor house at Baddesley Clinton, near Solihull, was broken into just before 2am yesterday, Thursday, July 30. Police have recovered the body of a teenage girl from Kingsbury Water Park in Warwickshire. Officers were called to Bodymoor Heath Lane shortly after 6pm on Monday May 25. Emergency services attended following concerns being raised about a teenage girl in the water. A search was conducted across Kingsbury Water Park, resulting in the discovery of a body at around 7.20pm. Paramedics battled desperately to save the girl, but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her family have been informed. An investigation into the circumstances of her death is now taking place. Officers will be maintaining a presence at Kingsbury Water Park in the days ahead and have urged the public not to speculate about the incident. A spokesman for Atherstone and Coleshill Police said: “We can confirm that, sadly, the body of a teenage girl was recovered from the water shortly after 7.20pm. A family have been jailed over a stabbing at a caravan site in the West Midlands after the blood-stained victim fled in his pants. Warwickshire Police said that multiple men drove to The Griff caravan site in Nuneaton and entered a caravan where a man and woman were staying just after midnight on 9 May last year. The woman, aged in her 20s, escaped through a window, while the man ran out the caravan. But the victim, also aged in his 20s, was stabbed several times.
