Sleep isn’t just downtime; it’s essential for normal brain function and overall health. And while we often focus on how many hours we’re getting, the quality of our sleep environment matters too. A clean, welcoming bed with crisp sheets, soft pillows and pillowcases and fresh duvets not only feels good, it also supports better rest. But how often should we really be washing our bed linens? And how often should we change our duvets? According to a 2022 YouGov poll, just 28 per cent of Brits wash their sheets once a week.
